I agree with you. Intresting point is that the same lawyer that defended The Jackel and several of his group will also defend SH. This guy is a real scumbag, he would pass information on from Carlos to his group etc. If you ever come across the book called "The Jackel" get it. Val and Ken. Life after college is well different. Both of you have been in school for close to 80% of your life, you had a set schedule. School starts in the fall, you get winter break, spring semester comes up next, spring break then summer vacation. Its been like that for 18+ years. So in a way your going through a "shock" to your system/life. Like everything there are pros and cons. I've been outof college for 4 years now and I'm still gettin use to post college life. Hell I'm going to Grad school within the next three years, as to what I want to pursue, I dont know. I do know that I dont want to continue in the finance world and most likely will pursue a masters in one of the sciences. P.S. Kennedy I know what you mean about part-timer with a B.S.

Please NHB and UFC close to real street/bar fight yeah right. Favak summed it up best. It's hardly ever one on one, it does not last 20+min, and the guys dont have pads on their hands. They might have knives, bottles, lead pipes anything but pads. Also to say one style is the best because it dominates UFC and NHB. BJJ and grapling are great styles, but the best all around, hardly. They have a lot to offer and I respect both styles. For anyone to say his/her style is the best without ever trying others is BS. Read what Bruce Lee said about staying with one style. Why do you think he created JKD?

If they're so pretty why have the lasted so long? Some of these styles have been around for hundreds of years and withstood the test of time. I dont like to say one style is better than the other cuz each one is different. I'm not a fan of NHB or UFC, yes they are awesome athletes and fighters, but they dont embody the spirit of the martial arts. To fight just to prove that youre the best and can cause severe bodly harm to another. Is that what martial arts is about? Some of the best styles combine moves/styles and techniques from others. Look at Krav Maga. Take a Master from Krav and put them up against a NHB or UFC champion and the NHB or UFC chap will end up in the morgue.

Sorry to sound so ignorant but both Kenpo and Akido are Japanese correct? I know one was taught to the Samuari for unarmed combat, is it Kenpo? What's the Kenpo philosophy? Are there a lot of joint locks, or throws? Just curious as to the history of your style. I find it fascinating how each style evolved or was influenced from its environment.

Hey took Hung-Gar for close to 5+ years. Want to get back into it, maybe Jet Kun Do (spelling I know). What's baguazhang/hsing? What internal styles intrest you? There's a Jet school near my work where the head instructor studied under Lee. I went and saw him work on the wooden dummie. JESUS the guy was insanely fast and hellof good. Plus he's over 60 so I was like DAMN.

Missed Revolution in the theatre so I rented it today when it came out. I was totaly stoked cuz I had such high hopes for it and friends said it kicked butt. What a POS, they shouldve left it off at the first movie. AAGGHHH. Man and I heard Kill Bill V1 kicks butt too, hope I'm not disapointed.
