  1. What do you mean you don't know where to skydive in PR but your profile says Humacao and student. Well anyway the DZ is in Humacao (Xtreme Divers) and everyone there has a cool vibe. It has been a couple of months since I've been down there but after your student training there is a good group of RW and FF you can fly with. I don't think there are a lot of Birds down there but that might have changed since December or maybe not. When you go to the DZ ask for Jason, he is the main man down there. learn to fly in 3d

  3. I second that note, a combo of tunnel and freeflying is the best way to go. I would personally recommend Dave Brown. He is a bad ass all around flyer (in the sky and tunnel) plus a great guy. Go to the Freefly Training Center under flyer profiles to get his personal e-mail. learn to fly in 3d

  6. First of all...how big are you? The bigger you are the harder it's going to be for you to freefly in the tunnel. Now like they mentioned before there is a progression you must follow in order to freefly inside the tunnel. First you must should stability and other things on your belly, then same with back flying. After that you can practice sit-flying on the grate / grill and then lift off. After all of this, and it is a lot trust me, then you can ask about head-down flying. And if they agree then you would start out on the grate / grill and then take off. Let me say right from the start that for you to be able to do a lot of freeflying it would be best if you go with an independent coach, they can help you try more things than if you would go by yourself. Another important thing for the tunnel is that drag there makes a huge difference. Drag is critical inside the tunnel, most of the tunnel guys have a special suit made just for the tunnel. And last but not least flying in the tunnel is hard because you have to be very static. Moving around like crazy will cause you to spill a lot of air and loose lift. I personally think that this is one of the reasons a lot of people find flying in the tunnel hard. The more smooth and controlled (static) your flying is the better you'll do in the tunnel. Also don't expect to be doing a lot of stuff with just one hour of tunnel time, it takes some time. I you need anything else just PM me. learn to fly in 3d
