  1. Exiting the Constellation has been the greatest visual to date for me. What a beautiful airplane, I was momentarily stunned by how graceful it was while falling away from it. I'm looking forward to chunking a wad-o-people out the back of a C-130 some day. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
  2. So I'm guessing they have plenty of money for a good defense attorney. I can't imagine what kind of lawyer would defend this couple in court. It would have to be a completely empty human being. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

  4. Shriners ROCK! I really don't know anything about them, but the Shriners Hospitan burn unit literally saved the skin of the daughter of a friend of mine...for free, no charge. It's a long story, but they rescued this little girl from having multiple skin graft operations at a different "teaching" hospital and treated her for free, and she is perfectly fine now. When they do the annual fund drive on the street corner thing, I always give at least fifty-bucks or so. I usually get a surprised reaction from the dude in the hat, but those guys do great work. Shriners rock. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
  5. It's not rocket science, I think I have a pretty good grasp on what network marketing is and I am well educated on the subject, I have a BBA and I owned a successful business for ten years. In my opinion, Quixtar is a failed business model for the vast majority of folks who sign up and put the time in; and if you take away the motivational crap, it's an unsustainable model, IMO. Yeah, I know about the tiny percentage that actually make it big, and I know how they did it....by selling motivational junk to the people who will fall for it. A friend of mine took me to her cousin's house (mansion) who is one of the top gurus in Amway/Quixtar and I saw his distribution setup of tapes, booklets, seminars, etc. The guru flat out admitted to me that he made something like 80% of his revenue from selling support materials and expensive tickets to feel-good, sales seminars. It's a scam, and if people want to believe the dream while getting fleeced by their mentors that's up to them. But, if someone asks my opinion, I'll tell them it's a joke and to not drink the cool-aid. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

  7. That stuff is a joke. The way the bigshots make their money in that racket is by selling motivational tapes and getting their co-workers to spend all of their spare time and money going to meetings and conventions. One of my prior in-laws talked me onto going to one of the meetings...it would have been funny if it had not been so sad. I sat next to this guy who was buying into the bs. He had gone out and bought himself a brand new, imitation leather briefcase and a new suit that still had the little satin label sewn onto the sleeve. The poor guy was buying all kinds of support materials from the snake oil salesmen up front, and he could not see the forest for the trees. Total waste of time IMHO. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

  10. The BMW 3.2L I-6 (M3) engine has won more awards than just about any engine ever built. (Wards 10 Best Engines award for many years) I would have any engine/car checked out by a good mechanic familiar with the model, but I would not worry about it by staying away from BMW's. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
  11. I hope it was ok to post these reviews of the M Coupe. It's an incredible car BTW, and relatively cheap too. Date Posted 10/02/2003 BMW - do it again by MCOUPESTOLEMYLIFE Style: 2 Dr STD Coupe Rating 9.6 Review: 5 years later - still have it, won't sell it. Its the tightest, zippiest, power ride ever. Other supercars eg Porsches feel bulky by comparison. BMW created something very special and made it more so by producing a very small number - this car has classic potential. Favorite Features: Powertrain/transmission, appearance - very edgy - still gets a lot of looks and questions. Although when my wife first saw it - she said "thats a nice looking honda civic" - guess I should have told her I was thinking of buying a car. Suggested Improvements: Well its too late and frankly I like all the quirks - the darned power window, the feeling that the passenger is on top of the driver Was this review helpful? M coupe is great car that makes me looks for the longer routes to get home. I can't stop driving it. Favorite Features: The hatch! Suggested Improvements: Glove box rattles on bumpy roads. Each ride, I wanted to hug the entire design team(yes engineers and body and interior teams). Favotite experience: walking to the car, getting in,starting it, adjusting body position, putting it in gear, tapping the throtle letting out the clutch---smile,smile,then realizing I can't wipe off the smile if I wanted to. Favorite Features: Engine sound, responce and torque. Solid granite-like ride. Interior design. Exterior design. Boston green color always bring some nice comments. Oh, and that look from the rear. Perhaps the best example of rubber to the road and rear fenders execution ever! Suggested Improvements: Make the seat bolster adjust to wider designed bodies. A shade for the moonroof would also help. Was this review helpful? Yes No Let us know if this review is offensive. Each day that goes by, I know I made the right choice. What else can you say, this will be a car that will be legendary and desired by all enthusiasts for many years to come. No regrets. Can't wipe the smile from my face. Favorite Features: Head-snapping looks and performance. Suggested Improvements: Windows all the way down!!! Oh, well, production has ceased on these cars anyway... The exterior styling is the hottest attribute on this car. I've owned it for over a year now, it always turns heads and receives thumbs up from passer bys. Cargo space is more than people expect, Hardon Kardon stereo w/CD changer is excellent. Its a unique purchase thats affordable. If your thinking of purchasing one, do it. You won't be dissappointed! Favorite Features: Great power, better handling and braking. Great recipe for performance. Suggested Improvements: The only improvement I can think of is being able to put the window all the way down. It current stops with a 1/4 inch sticking up. Was this review helpful? This is usually about the time I start to get bored with a car and begin searching for something more exciting. Not this time! I've been so impressed with my M-Coupe. I also own a 1999 911 Carrera and the M-Coupe for a little more than half the price has been just as much fun to drive. Absolutely no problems with the M-Coupe just fun, fun, fun! Favorite Features: Performance aside, the exterior styling is my favorite feature of the M-Coupe. There are few enough of them on the road that it still turns heads. Suggested Improvements: WINDOWS! Design the side windows so that they can be lowered all the way down. It would be nice to be able to rest your arm without having the window dig into your skin. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
  12. My big issue with Sprint was the reception and roaming. The reception is horrible unless you are stationary while standing outside in a major urban center. If you are in a building, car, or rural area, forget it. I went back to Verizon and all is well. I'm not big on the whole mobile/text thing, so I can't comment on that. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
  13. You can expect to get sick if you are not careful. My lil sis spent a year or so over there during her doctorate studies and got very sick, it took her a full year to recover. When I go somewhere like that I bring good meds for bacteria, infection and nausea. Other than that, have fun. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

  15. I'll bet your range/speed would increase using road bike gearing, wheels and tires instead of those nubby ones?? I ride a hybrid bicycle that is essentially a big mountain bike with a set of road bike wheels and tires on it, and it is much easier and faster on pavement than regular mountain bikes. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

    dogs or cats

There is a lot of truth to that, but there is at least one dog breed who is absolutely devoted to his master. An Australian Cattle Dog, "Blue Heeler", is an incredibly good friend. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
  17. I love Canada. My family has a place up there, and I have been going there all my life. I drive to and from the north country above Toronto every year, and I have never had a problem with the Provincial Police. Maybe the problem is just in Quebec. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

  20. It's still pricey though. I rented a small, 860 sq. ft. apartment (albeit, a penthouse with a patio) in midtown a year ago and they are turning the building into condos. I have the "opportunity" to buy my unit at $358,000. That's right, $416 per sq. ft.!! Thankyouverymuch, but I'll pass. Personally, I think ATL kinda sucks. Just MHO, mind you. Like I told Mailin in a PM, I have been all over the southeast and my top two choices for a decent sized city are Nashville, TN or Austin, TX. Low crime rates, good people, great music, good weather, etc. _________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.
