  1. Chris, Don't encourage him.... TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  2. Chris, Good luck and Bless you. If you make it back in the air, I promise, no matter where you are, I'll be there for the first jump and buy you the first beer. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  3. Geez, I wish I had his money. That is quite a collection. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  4. Classic Mopars? Geez, I owned a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner with 426 Hemi and a Dodge Charger r/t with the same hemi. Then when the Challenger came out it was next. Then there was the 65 GTO, the 55 Chev and the 56 and 57 Chevy and even an old Triump with a 327 cu.in. Chevy mill. So, yeah, I also grew up with them. But bottom line is this - two doors or four, the Charger, as it stands, is still heads above the rest. But I bet you wouldn't recognise my old Polar Bear (49 Ford) as a muscle car, either. Some of the old timers on here would remember the pic's of him and a few lucky ones actually got to see him in person. And I dare say, not only was it a true classic muscle car, it would out perform most of the so called muscle cars made today. 5. Dude, I own a 2006 Charger R/T and it's a pretty nice ride. Drive one before you put it down and you'll be suprised. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  6. You missed the most important to me....HEALTH!!! I'd give most anything to be able to go back and undo some of the things I've done that has left me in the state of health I'm in. Mind you, I'm not complaining...it's just a wish. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  7. OOOOHHHHH...OOOOHHHHH....she called me "baby".... *heart sailing away* TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."

  9. I read that post and before I could reply it got gone. However, I agree wholeheartedly with your original post concerning his behavior and would turn him in in a heartbeat. Anytime someone places another's life in harm's way, he needs to be held accountable, legally. In fact, if I knew for certain that he was at Walterboro (not far from where I used to live and still have friends there) I'd send a pic to my friends and have them watch for him. As soon as he showed up, they would call the authorities. After all, it's OUR community that should be protected from rogue elements. That's the bottom line. As for me, I hold your opinion in the highest regard and it has nothing to do with how long you have been in the sport or how many jumps you have but how I percieve your integrity. Peanut4040 stated that you should keep yourself to yourself but it seems that he interjected himself into the mess, also. Maybe he needs to take his own advice, huh?? 10. Damn Sunny...I got left out??? And here I thought I was "Most Romantic"... TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  11. List of things needed: 1. Two M-80's. 2. Two electrically fired model rocket motors. 3. Ten feet of phone wire. 4. Roll of electric tape. 5. Access to jerks vehicle for ten minutes. Instructions: Remove tail light lens from rear of vehicle. Splice wire into brake light wires on both sides of vehicle. Connect rocket motors to wires and place M-80 fuses at the rear end of the rocket motors. Tape securely so nothing comes undone. Replace tail light lenses and walk away. When the victim steps on his brake pedal, the electric charge will ignite the rocket motors, in turn, igniting the fuse of the M-80's. Stand back and watch the taillights as they sail away from the victim's vehicle. The look on his/her face will be priceless. 14. He could have Elvis mow it. Elvis isn't busy right now and he's just been seen under the Tree at Toomer's Corner in Auburn flirting with Marilyn. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  15. Thanks for the laugh...that was hilarious. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  16. Yeah, like B & C enforce this... Either read the Forum rules or learn punctuation. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  17. What a bummer. I used to get a real jolt from reading his posts. Too bad hardly no one remembers him. After all, he taught us newbies all the great moves like jumping from the space shuttle, etc. Triple "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  18. Spectre230?? I think that was his "name". TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  19. He's still having headaches and is still a little wobbly on his feet but otherwise seems to be doing as good as can be expected under the circumstances. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  20. Rule #2. No touching of the genitalia (unless you are female, young, attractive and have ulterior motives such as gentle, loving caresses). In that case, I volunteer to be your boytoy. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  21. General update, ya'll. The doctors are running another CT scan tonight and if all looks fair they will move Woody out of ICU tomorrow. I also found that his truck is at his Grandparents so I'll go there tomorrow before picking up the kids and bring it to his wife so she'll have transportation to and from the hospital. Ya'll say a prayer or send vibes - whatever you believe is appropriate. His kids, especially the youngest, Samantha, are scared to death. There is nothing quite more heartbreaking than listening to a small child cry for her dad and not be able to do anything about it. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  22. I just got off the phone again with Patty. You are absolutely correct about the visitor thingy. Thank you for the correction. That being said, I'm on my way tomorrow to try and help in any way I can. If anyone wants to help Friday with a little work on a car, it'd be a help. Her son's car needs a starter and I'm not sure I can handle doing it on my own. I'm kinda' physically challenged cause my health failed a while back and her son is only 15 years old and doesn't have much experience working on them. Patty's car has a major water leak and can't be driven so she has to depend on others to get her to the hospital. I'm going to leave Alabama tomorrow morning to get them to the hospital and back and also Wednesday but Thursday I may not make it due to prior commitments. I'll take my laptop with me to check if anyone, mechanics preferred, want to help with this. Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  23. He can have visitors now. Patty (his wife) is staying at the hospital with him at night but during the day people can see him. It probably won't do any any good to go see him just yet cause he's in and out of it and only conscience for a few minutes at a time. He also probably won't remember anyone visiting just yet but I'll do my best to let his wife and kids (who, incidentally drove all the way from Atlanta to Alabama for MY wedding) {God, I love those kids} know that prayers and vibes are being sent. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
  24. I can elaborate. I've known Woody since before he started jumping. In fact, I was with him on his first jump. To go back farther than that, I was in his wedding. I've known his wife longer than he has and she and I have been great friends for years. I'm not gonna' call him a skirt chaser or any other names. He is who he is and that's that. We've all had problems with other people and Woody and I are no different than any other people. We've had words and bad feelings between us but have always managed to work it out. Regardless, this was done as a sneak attack and shouldn't have been done this way. If anything, this should have been done mutually without being sucker punched by either one. I personally think it was a cowardly attack but that's just my opinion. Besides all that, Woody isn't a big guy so it wouldn't take a lot to put him down. I just talked to his wife at Grady, right after George left, and she said that Woody doesn't remember what happened. He's in and out for periods of time and they are waiting to do a second scan on his head. I'll try to keep ya'll updated as this goes on. 25. That was cool but I opened this thread thinking that I was gonna' be reading something about Clay and sheep. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
