Took a "little lady" on a tandem jump. Took quite a while to fit the harness on her because every time I'd tug on leg straps or main lift webs she's lose her balance and fall over. Climb to altitude was pretty comfortable what with the extra room and shit. +1 on that. I did a tandem jump in 1994 with an old rancher into his ranch in North Texas for a rather large cattle auction he was having. He had been a bomber pilot in WWII and had one previous jump to his credit, out of a flaming B-17 over Germany after which he spent 17 months in a POW camp. Man, talk about a tough act to follow. About three weeks ago we stopped at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland while passing through on a road trip. I pretty much lost interest in everything but the skydiving lifestyle for many years, however, when it started getting stale I rediscovered many of the things I'd totally abandoned due to the call of the sky (guitars, motorcycles, running, skiing, travelling just for the sake of travel). Just finished grilling chicken breasts that have been marinating in teriyaki since noon. Made grilled teriyaki chicken Caesar salads with a couple of them for our dinner. Pretty damed good with a Woodbridge chardonnay out on the deck with ice cold watermelon for dessert.
