You know that is a comment that you should have saved until AFTER you got your rig!

At 2:24pm ET today, CNN Headline news will air the World record jump (30,100') that Cara made at the WFFC.

Boy, I'm glad I'm not jumping that gear.You also should know that the chest strap only takes 8-15% of the load.

5000lbs in the high speed catagory. The limitation in this case is the reserve, which for the reserve that I would use is 400lbs.

And that is based on the assumption that we are the only one's that have an event there, contribute to and use them

Have you jumped the FireBolt 350? I ask this because I have no records of you demoing the 350 and it does not fly anything like a Stiletto especially at the wing loading we are talking about. This is not true; you should not represent what the company can or cannot do, as you are obviously not knowledgeable about the TSO in question. According to whom? How many different types of scalable canopies have you jumped and how many jumps each have you made to make that determination. It is not rated to 350lbs. It exceeds it. And this is a sport container not a converted tandem container.

Why not take the simple solution and let me send you a demo and then you can decide what is right for you?

I don't find them any more or less difficult to pack than any other container as a general rule. Yes there are containers that I can pack faster but that is because I pack a lot of them. At one time or another I have heard complaints about most containers. I always advise riggers to contact the factories and learn the "tricks" that make it easy. So give them a call and I am sure they will be happy to help you as they have a good reputation for their customer service. Stay safe, Mike

What needs to change at WFFC? The registration and jump fees need to go down. And vendors should get one free registration for each 10' of tent space. The fact that we had to pay for every staff person on top of the vendor space and tent is unheard of. And some vendors had split staff where some staff came for the first half and then a second group came for the second half doubling the registration cost. No more auctions. While some skydivers got great deals it will hurt skydiving in the long run. You will see less vendors in the future if it is going to turn into a flee market. Also if the number of attendees keep dropping and cost keep going up, this too will drive vendors away.

They should. And since we paid for them we own them and no one else is going to use them, right? That is a joke! Our one event contributed $15,000 towards the showers and you still have to turn five on at a time to get hot water!

Best: Having a place to sleep more than 200' from a live band until 1:00am. Worse: Knowing that it will probably be my last WFFC.
