We've put one together previously that was tight, but didn't warp any of the stiffeners or wrinkle/bulge any of the flaps. We have another I3 on order that we will be putting an Optimum 143, Vigil II and Crossfire2 139 inside. I don't anticipate any issue there either. Mike ChutingStar.com

This is probably not the issue...but just in case... We have had a couple of jumpers complain of fogging and/or not getting a clear view out of their Mambas or Havoks and later found that they had not removed the clear protective cover from the inside and outside of their lens. Some of the Mamba lenses come with a protective "cling" covering on the outside and inside on the new helmets and/or lenses that you may not even notice is on there unless you kind of pick at the edge of the lens. Ah, Mads says you have a pre-production unit. They do have a few they are sending out...and I now have a couple coming early as well. But the "real" production of them won't start until January. Are you sure about that? Cause mine comes with LED port and it is water resistant. To OP: for me is working great. So far reliable, its small, accurate and price is reasonable. On top L&B have great costumer service. According to Mads at L&B the Optima II with the LED port will be available in January 2010. It will be approximately a $50 option. So I don't think it's available yet. None of our Optima II units we have here have them. The original Optima did, but we've sold out of those. We do have the Optima II with LED port on order. And when it was the original Skyhook without the plastic plates, it was the red lanyard itself that was tacked to the bridle with seal thread...not a piece of seal thread through/around the hook and through the bridle. You will need the Liquid Flatlock top plate made for the CX100, which has an extra hole drilled off to the side of the main slot. This hole is specifically for lining up the CX100 Blackbox on the Liquid Flatlock. Vigil II units didn't come onto the scene until 2007. If it has a 09/05 DOM, this is an original Vigil. You'll want to find out if the service bulletins have been complied with in regards to the cutter. Used price for both can vary...but the prices you have listed are fair if everything checks out as airworthy. Mike ChutingStar.com
