I remember reading an letter from Bill Dause. He wrote Parachutist complaining that requiring camera would put the cost out of reach for many teams. Before that I assume they used a telescope of sorts to judge the meet. Teams did a few less points and exited from 10 or so. I am guessing this was 20 years ago.

The operative term is accidental-death insurance policy. That is Not Life Insurance. In the state of oregon: If you get your Life policy before you skydive it will not exclude skydiving. Once you start skydiving they can not go back and exclude activities. But when you apply, if you do certian things, they can up charge you or you can chose to exclude it. Accidenial death polices have lots of exclusions. Ie: USPA insurance you must be at a group DZ. Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time...

Hey Roy I had a fence charger that was for bulls. It literally would knock you on your ass. But it did not hurt you unless you hit your head on a rock or something. I had a dog that could escape from any thing, I tried the charger. This dog would sit and get in sync with the pulse and then go on the off beat. Hey Jess, I just switched from OC to IC. Work the mock up with video and have an expirenced 4way person watch your debreif. In the air you must go down on exit, that is not practical with the mock up. You might be jumping up and not down and out. Make sure your count is aggressive enough that everyone know when to go. Of course it takes 4 to make a nice exit. If the point is leaving early... Come to Eloy for easter and get some others insite. Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time...

Hey Gus just jumped into the middle of this thread, but. In the US if you rent/hire a car you are responsible for damage and loss of a vehicle. You can elect to buy their insurance, very expensive. Or use you owne if you have it. Many young drivers have a hard time renting a car because they mush have a credit card and proof of insurance. Also if you wreck a rented car they will "try" to charge you for loss of use. But you only have to pay for what was lost. ie used car, used main. Not new.

Maybe the Sheriff will sponsor a volunteer claw hammer turn in. That way they can redistribute our tax dollars to people who turn in old claw hammers. I agree with slug. IF you are paying cash get a receipt. I paid cash one sunday at a DZ that i only jump at occasionally. Imagine my surprise the next time i visited and was told I had a large balance. I explained & was believed, but now I pay by check. Always get a receipt with any cash tranactions and balance your account, not just Drop zones. If it is applied to the wrong account, how would you correct that months later? I remember Doc Sherry is the person i have a grip on in Mikes picture. Back to the 20 way question. I tried to find the 20-way dive pool on the internet and did not.
