the hand break only works on the rear wheels. If your cars has rear drum breaks you probally only overheated them and no real big deal. you might pull off the wheel and drum and have some one look at the pads, but 3 miles.. I am an Insurance agent. Each state can have different polices. But read you policy. If you are a sprot jumper and keep you gear at the DZ, your Home / Renters insurance would probaly cover the loss. But if this is how you make your living, ie live at the DZ and most of your income is video ing tamdems, I am sure there is no coverage, you would need a commerical policy. But if you are in the grey space: you have a day job but do some skyding for $, you might be covered if it is just a hobby... The Insurance co could ask for your tax records if they wanted to. I was a long time ATT wireless customer.. then Cingular bought them.. what a fuc**** g hassel. I finall called the FCC and they let me out of my contract. I went to Sprint and have FREE as in no cost for my inbound calls, which are 20 to one for my calls. I never get close to my minutes... but once cingular took over att i was $50 -$100 over..every other month, humm "Sprint, on the other hand, doesn't exactly offer prices any lower than the competition, nor any other advantages. Hey Gordo & LT: I am still happy about getting to see all you guys. It quit raining here for a few hours today... Any way my team was 3rd out each time. I had the choise of the main or alternate field. I usuall picked the alternate field based on the winds, but the main had less traffic. An Air Force team was last out each time, they uausally landed their big canopies at the alternate field. I do not know if they made it each time. But if they were 3rd and we were last, we would have been flying back through their slow parachutes.. good times c ya Xmas Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time...

If you drag an event out an extra day, then a jump off or weather adds even more days.. some teams would be leaving before they finished.. and less people doing 8 -10 or 16 way... Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time...

Insurance is regulated by state. But I would assume that as a fire fighter you could get group life insurance that would not rate you. Unfortunately you might lose that coverage if you change jobs. Many life insurance salesman will not be able to answer the skydiving question, because they have not tried to write skydives. Also it would depend on how much coverage and standard or preferred rates.
