hmmm sounds like pointless banter...if ya are having troubles with the amount of time it takes to get to alt mr speedy I suggest chartering your own plane...because when you take the bus....you get all the locals and others that come with it...germs and heat and sweat and all....smelly as it is....just next time you feel the urge to segregate...remember that we are very fortunate to be skydivers....we leave this kind of crap in the real world...or the fake one is what I call it...the real one is the dz...where they accept me with open arms....I'd be hurt if they really weren't that open after all.... *when you find yourself complaining...remember that you're skydiving....I'd go through waiting in a long line if that was the only way to get up there* **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

Congratualations!!! Maybe it's the way how you write, or maybe the fact that I have been there and felt that feeling, but I noticed as I was reading your post that my vision was bluring and as I blinked I realized that I totally connected with what you were saying, and how you described it so well, I could almost vision it clear as day. Ed was one of my AFF instructors also...lol actually my very first picture after my first jump is with him, I should take it to Perris for shits and giggles. hehehe and I know Ed will be fine on your pack... **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

I am not sure how much you will value my opinion, I'm 21, and have never been married. However as an active skydiver, I can tell you the obvious skydiving can be very addictive. IT's sort of like an overload of life, a sensory overload everytime you step out of that plane. And then there's those times at sunset where you just can't understand how you got picked for something so special, but the sky and the sunset reached out to you and you dont know where your body stops and the sky begins...it's like you're a part of that awesome sunset. Right now you must be questioning where I am going with this. I can't tell you how my spouse feels for I don't have a better half...yet. What I can tell you is what I have experienced, my family, my brother who is a jumper, and my two little sisters wanting to show up to the dropzone...I get teary eyed now thinking about how special that is to me. It's so awesome to have them there on occassion. But the main reason why I go jumping is for me...it's my time, my time just me and that sky. And yeah of course there's the wacko's on the ground who I talk to and jump with...I get along with everyone there becasue I am a wacko myself. Even though I love my sisters or non-jumper friends to go to the dz, I am overwlemed with support eachtime I see a face show up...but I like that time...I need something for my own. And while this will be very hard to read...you may need to realize that maybe he needs something to call his own. And even though you want to be included, maybe from his perspective he is including you...by telling you what he experiences when he jumps, or maybe having you show up to the dz on occassion. Sometimes if we water flowers too much it can't grow, sounds to me like that may be the only case. Do you have any of your own hobbies that feed your spirit that you love to do alone? Sometimes we lie because we can't express how we feel. Maybe, now this is just a theory, maybe his skydiving, is something he doesn't want to completely share with you to the extent that you would like him to. well that's my $.02 I hope I didn't offend ya in anyway...just trying to shed light on any other perspective... **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

As far as family and jumping goes, I'm very fortunate to have my lil bro as a fellow jumper, which is such a blessing, how cool is it to have a family member be a part of the skydiving family, makes us so much closer as bro and sis.My little sisters 15, and 11 both come and watch me jump because they love it...which is another total awesome bonus. However the mothership has seen me jump once, not when I made my first jump, or any of the 190 that have followed, or when my bro started to jump, but when her beloved step-daughter jumped. She has seen me in the air though, so I do have to thank my step sis for that one. Very rarely does a nonjumper come to the dz to watch, or to just talk and hang out, although there's always an open invite for everyone I know to go, and the very few times when they do show up, it makes it totally worth it...very cool... **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

I'm not sure what's going on in August as of yet, but I'll tell you what should happen. Michele, My hat is off to you. I want to almost slap ya, but in a very good way. If you EVER say you may think that you aren't airworthy...please refrain. #1 You are taking whatever your faults may be into consideration. #2 there haev been jumpers unable to cut away after hundreds if not thousands of jumps because they freaked out. The fact that you at 3 jumps cut away and came back...shows us...the rest of us, just a simple little taste of how big your heart is for the sky. I don't know you personally...but if I run accross you make sure I give you a hug...in 175 jumps I've always had a perfect chute, with the exception of very very mild line twists...I hope I react exactly like yourself. After a malfunction...it's normal to have less trust...if that even is the correct word. i am so proud of you to get back into the air, we missed you when you were gone!!! **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

David Both Perris and Elsinore have otters...Perris also has a skyvan, which is awesome to at least jump out of once. Both places have a bunkhouse... It's a give and take Perris has a bar and a pool as well...Elsinore has a snack bar open during the day, personally the view is better at Elsinore there's the hills and lake...people hop both all of the time....best bet...jump them both...GO BIG baby! **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

lol ok here it goes....words of wisdom from the naked freak...lol. Being that it's a joke at my DZ to actually jump now WITH clothes on, lol I hope you trust what I say. The Rules to NAKED Skydiving 1. GO BIG OR GO HOME -meaning don't get all shy...now is not the time, so get the nervousness out of your system 2. Get naked first, then put on your rig...put lose clothes or wrap a towel around you for the plane ride 3. DO NOT BRING CLOTHES WITH YOU!!! -this isn't a go big or go home rule...it's simple safetly...you're under your canopy tryign to get dressed...are you a friggin idiot? that's an accident waiting to happen 4. LAND RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE hehehe this one is up to the jumper but actually can be under the go big or go home rule...I simply land in front of everyone because that's where the grass is...I'd really hate to eat shit on a naked jump...so yes I land in plain view 5. Once you land take a bow before you start to field pack your canopy...gather the lines and when ya get to your chute wrap it around you, trust me it's a bond you'll share with your canopy...very senimental...um ok hehehe NOTE...if you take your clothes off early int he plane there's more of a chance to get some extra altitude AND please use your best judgement when making a naked jump...there are kids on dzs hmmm ok I think I got it all...oh...whatever anyone has said that naked jumping has to stay with belly down is a lie...I've done a couple freefly naked jumps...and no...you don't need drag...:) **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P

I am almost positive this will not sound completely the way I would like it to be. However...I hope that my underlying point will come accross. We are all the same...JUMPERS. No one owns any games and no one developed any kind of flying first. The Wright bros. did not develop flying on their own...humans have been forever fixated with the sky from the begining of time. I think anyone who gets titles or accomplishments is a wonderful thing for that person and for skydiving as well, it's an accomplishment...but maybe I view my own goals differently from that....it's not about titles, or championships. And no I do not believe the great Olav invented freeflying...freeflying has many techniques as freestyle...and jumpers have been doing that longer than the world freefly has been around. In all seriousness...go look into the mirror....right now...go...that my friends is what deserves recognition, you...you yourself, not any titles... In reading the previous posts about believing if it is "him". I can't believe I have the honor of talking to any of you...for I am the lucky one. I can invent games and create a new lisence, and slap a label as it is my own...but I never will...because I respect all of the jumpers before me, and I will NOT claim their ideas as solely my own. What I am trying to say...is that we are all equal...we are ALL THAT special, and I hope every single one of you realizes that. **BLUE ONES** BITE ME.... :P
