CK5 (some boys from ATL and CK) will be there.. I think we are more looking forward to the comp on Sat instead of the one on Friday.. There will be at least 7 teams, hoping for 8. i hope that there are an even number of teams to fill the Sat comp..

man i have a number of jumps on both... I could not decide between two without 3 or 4 hundred jumps on them,thats how well both fly. I love both canopies.. which ever one you can get the best deal on used would be the one you want to buy... let fate be the choosing factor...you will get an ass load of perforemance out of both..

I have been jumping with the light face one now for almost 3 years. I love it. I like the black face better for looks but I think the light face is more functional. sometimes you will have a hard time seeing the black face numbers even on the ground.. the other you can see it clearly from most any angle. I mean you do actually have to look at it in freefall. although it is not something that you can really see by glancing at... but once you are used to it you will be able to.... that is why many people dont like them.

Man he did those back at my DZ at the time, twice.. With in two years.. No camera guy on the jumps.. just that one ground shot by another jumper...

I mean that the hard core swoopers are normally without AAD's but there is a vast majority of us who are hard core up jumpers who fly canopies at comp levels but always have a AAD on religiously.... we need to know what compromising relationships that we are putting ourselves in and it needs to come form the AAD manuf no matter hwo they are... Ok there has been a guy with a fanny pack tying to set off a AAD but has there been any other controled constant R&D with HP landings recently that AAD manuf have published that I have missed bec I would like to read what they say???

a good example of the type of jump suit I am talkin gof is what Melissa Nelson used to jump in.. I know she is a girl but dont let that affect the effectiveness.. If you look around in some last years Parachutist and look for some of her pictures you will see her black suit with a pink stripe down the sides with the grippers.. I have seen many multi talented jumpers use these types of suits effectively for the past few years......dont get two suits.......

Man with your weight and size you should be able to buy one suit... really!!!! just buy a freefly suit with two sets of small grippers on the leggs and two on the arms. Tonysuits makes good ones like that. Your fall rate issues are gonig to be the exact same whether you are freeflying or RW formations. but man just buy one suit with all the options of both.... trust me with your size you are goin gto be able to track like a SoB so dont worry about booties.. your wing span is going to help you with freeflying so you wont need some big baggy suit because of so much surface area and on your belly you hsouldnt have any problems slowing down without much drag once you learn the right techniques.... Get one suit for both.. this is coming from a big guy too.....

RWS has 25's at $175 or so.. Mirage I think that they have 24s and are a little bit cheaper. Sunpath I know are a little bit cheaper for their 24s but I dont know if they have 26s.. I use the 25s from RWS..they are my favorite.....even though they cost the most...

Yes use two in both helmets.... love having two!!! you can get L&B stuff used really cheap so that makes it even more functional..

a problem that happens is that many times when a Vector looks like that there is a too big of a reserve in it, because you can fit one larger in there they just look like that... so make sure while you are looking up specs to make sure to check reserve size of rig and actual canopy.....

went through AFF before college.....went to college to get student loans to pay for rig and jumps, lived in shithole.. now college got me a job and I own my fourth rig from loans and 2000 jumps....now all I do is pay for the jumps.. can you believe it actually payed off..

Bunkhouses are cool and some of the nicest in the world but they can get hot if the weather is Hot because no airconditioning.... unless they put some in over the winter but i doubt it.. showers are great and toilets are clean.. But where ever youstay go rent a Bicycle from the bike shop so you can commute into town and back when weather is bad or in the evenings.. they dont cost much at all and if you get you whole group with one then bam you can go into town wihich is a great place to go.. also go to the Orange Kiwi on the beach, Bokken also has a bar but I forget the name of it which will serve some mean sangria.. so look out.... But Really Rent bicycles it makes getting around easy....and adds to the experience getting the town accessable...especially getting to the beach which is great place to have sunset beers..

Well I havent been to the WFFC But I can tell you why... The perception of safety.... Max altitude opening hights, people up all night then jumping.. Me and many others willnot go because it is perceived as to be unsafe.. The DZ should be safe enough for people with less than fifty jumps.. I really dont trust people party'n it up allnight than jump off the drugs and booze.. screwing up skydives and then cluster fuck for landings.. man that just is not fun..... there are many of us very current and experienced jumpers who will not go because of this.. we go to smaller boogies that may still have three or fuor turbines running but it is safe enough for those jumpers with less than 50.. So when the WFFC is safe enough for very low time jumpers then the people will come back... that is all there is too it..

Yes ther is you can get used Cypress 1s for pretty cheap with four to six years left on them still.. as long as your not getting wet in the pond get the cypress 1.. I bet you can get them for less than 500 if not as low as 300....

I learned a hard way........... I lost everything in another country over the holidays.. everyone was closed and no where to get replacements........ man if fucking sucked... it tooke me almost two weeks to get replacements.. I always have a spare of everything at least at home in my closet ready to go when I travel.

sell everything..buy a trailer and move to Davis Cali and pay for AFF... Do what ever you can and live at the DZ.. Screw the school.. you will learn the same thing at the DZ.. but to be honest with you.. the best skydivers in the world have real jobs, make good money to travel and jump/tunnel because that is where the cool shit happens...... just work out work schedules to allow for jumping... if you work at the DZ you will never get to jump and it will take you forever to learn the skills that you will really want to learn...

also it is OK to make it back to the DZ in an order different than the order you left the plane in..

Sorry mate I dont seem to see from your post on how the 180 is dangerous. As long as it is off set you are cool.. off set clears you from the airspace that everone else is in... assuming that the winds are out of one direction and jump run was directly into the wind because the direction of the off set jump run makes a huge difference.. You just need to make sure that freefliers are getting out first on the downwind jump run in front of Tnadems and Belly fliers.. If you open even with the belly fliers that left on the original jump run and you left on a 180 off set shit man you guys must have been gong 250++ MPH or belly fliers giong 65mph

One thing, you do know that if you are flying on your belly and you are at a DZ that puts out FF first that you need to wait an especially long time before you get out, no matter the assholes screaming at you from the front of the airplane........ I spend alot of time FFing and only on jumps with heavy movement like angle flight or something will I get out first by choice... but I have been to a few DZs that put them/us out first and did not like it at all.. in fact scares the shit out of me....... though I trully believe that it is wrong to put FF out first, if a belly formation opens on top of a group that exited before them(no matter the deployment altitude) then it is their fault not the group before them no matter the type of skydiving.....
