I jump an FF3 (older model) and I am very happy with it, but a couple of things to consider: because the helmet is made for a specific camera, you may have an issue if you change your camera, or the size of battery you use (if you plan to use one of the bigger batteries, tell them first...). Cutaway system - seems from an earlier post that they are now/will be supplying one, but is also quite easy to construct one your self. If you are interested, I will send you some pictures of mine. Seems to me that the issue is serious enough - its killing people after all - for it to be in the USPA's interest to spend the time to produce a training strategy. The highly loaded elliptical is not going to go away, and I know several people with many more then 500 jumps not capable of flying their choice of canopy. Did mine in a Thursday afternoon and a Saturday morning (weathered out Friday). I think I did 3 consols on the Saturday afternoon. But I had done 10 S/L over about 4 months 3 years before (never got off the rope).
