2 pointsNo. You think, if your programming allows, we aren’t a gaggle of impressionable fools here. Repetition won’t become truth, hyperbole is boring, and ROTFLMAO is considered a tool of a weak mind. Except for the one guy with back channel comms and a lifetime supply of tin foil no one is impressed.

1 pointIt’s the kind of neighborhood where the police don’t go “just” for a report of gunfire. Also, the murdered family was from Honduras; not all may have been in the US legally. The shooter also spoke Spanish; they may have decided to try to deal with it neighbor to neighbor. Is that really so unreasonable? It’s easy to say stupid is as stupid does in hindsight, though, isn’t it? Wendy P.

1 pointOnce, several years ago, my wife asked me this question. I instinctually, instantly deleted that section of my memory and I think that was the best decision for everybody involved.

1 pointI’ve got not back-channel comms and all my tin foils is utilized in non hat-related applications, but I am impressed with his seemingly incessant ability to post bullshit

1 pointThe hijacking got massive news coverage. At the time most hijackings were political. (everything is political ?)

1 pointmilitary radar techs, civilian radar techs, Air Force pilots, air traffic controllers, and the flight crew don't work for the FBI. People who apply conspiracy theories to the Cooper case don't realize that Cooper wasn't special. There were 150 skyjackings in the previous four years over American skies. He was the first successful parajacker, sure, but much of his success was due to being first. The FBI quickly adapted and every parajacker who came afterward were apprehended. The Cooper skyjacking was nothing more than a clever bank robbery. Even today with modern crime fighting techniques and forensics, the FBI only solve 60% of bank robberies. There didn't need to be a conspiracy or cover up for Cooper to have successfully eluded the FBI for all those years.

1 pointI wonder why I haven't heard "an armed society is a polite society" in a while......

1 pointMakes no sense. It's called utilizing best practices. You don't have to ship all of the issues that Israel has over here to use those things that work.
-
1 pointYou know my position regarding 2A and solutions I've put forth. Given the current climate; I point to Israel as a model for a workaround.

1 pointAgree with all of that. This is a tough forum for conservatives and BIGUN pays for posting conservative ideas.. wolfriverjoe though is a liberal(left of center)with pro gun, pro 2nd views. So dissenters can co-exist with little friction. IMO most anti-conservative leanings are due to the sheer mass of conservative scumbags since 2000. I think the last intellectually honest leader was McCain. Thats not to say that Jeff Flake, Liz Cheney, etc. didn't fight hard for integrity among the GOP. But Liz got the boot and a couple dozen other threw up their hands in disgust.
