I never claimed the info was new,, What is new is the fact that it is in the FBI docs.. previously it was hearsay from agents. I posted the FBI doc as confirmation... get it.

I’m late to the discussion. I do have a formed opinion on the matter as a wingsuit’er with a lot of experience and having been in charge of safety in this area in my country. My opinion is basically simple. Reserve: pls go by the wl chart of the manufacturer and stay within the recommended range and do not exceed it. Yes it means a larger chute for most people, due to the fact that people think it is smart to go small, weighs less, looks neat etc etc. It can be problematic if the jumper also e.g. is a freeflyer and want to have a small compact rig, but there you have it... so maybe own two rigs.... or go for the larger option if you want to avoid spinning reserves as a result of an unstable WS cutaway. It has happened many times this way. Even with mega experienced WS’ers. I remember one recent chilling video posted by a Red Bull WS pilot cutting, then having a small Optimum reserve twisting and then going down in crazy spins. He got out of the twists seconds before landing. Be smart. Go big.

This will cause the edges of the Earth some here know and love to curl up and inwards like a tostada but I'd go so far as to make vaccinations a requirement to work in any environment where you are in close contact with the general public: restaurants, Ubers and skydiving included. If you are opposed then find a warehouse gig or someone willing to pay you to stare at your laptop all day. Let's use this golden opportunity to stop knuckleheads from giving the rest of us any kind of flu because it's all about their personal freedom.

While I’m waiting for the Jav to be sorted, I swapped my Cypres back over to my old Vector yesterday and today I end up under a spinning mal. Previously went 1170 jumps between reserve rides and this time lasted 8 jumps. Really not my week.

I hope so and the sooner the better. Barring that I'm ready to start doing it from tall trees. Tandems might need to do their own hand cams, I guess.
