Okay...this doesn't completely fit the formula, but:

A ROCKET PACK!!!

t

I think you probably wouldn't like it if you had one. I build "high power" model rockets for another expensive hobby. The characteristics of rocket motors are not really suitable for human flight.

Your better bet would be a miniature gas turbine engine, like one of these.

These might actually work. http://www.simjet.com/

Simjets are the real deal engine. Take a look at some of the specs for the top end engines. I think they were the ones used by Rossi on his folding wing set up

There are now dozens of brands to choose from. We have a "Sophia" at work.

NO, Yves used german JET-CAT turbines.

The most powerful simjet is 30 lbs (13.6 kg) thrust
Yves had 2x 22kg thrust (around 2x48 lbs)

I wish my GTi had pockets. Hell, I'd be happy with just one.[:/]

All of mine do.

That could have been added for free, should you have requested one when you ordered it. ;)

The design of the suit is made to be as smooth on the front/underside as possible for getting a better GR, and I dont usually put anything in mine except a cotton cloth, for cleaning my camera lens when doing an instructional jump, or maybe my Neptune which is small and slim.

I'm sure your local rigger can add one to the inside of the zipper for about $5. :)

Keepin it safe!

A quick back-of-the-envelope calculation is that thrust required for level flight is given by your exit weight divided by your glide ratio without the engine. So if you exit at 200lbs and have a glide ratio of 2.5, you'd need 80 lbs of thrust to maintain level flight. Any extra thrust could be used to climb.
