So what happens to the paraglider?



Weight one side so it collapses and streamers in. I can't view the video here, but if I recall, it shows it landing in the back ground at the end of the video.

Despite what the APF would have you believe, people can jump from above 18000MSL without dying :D The video did mention Boost Oxygen, though.

Legality depends on the rules where it happened.

If it had been in the US, due to rules about airspace above 18000ft, it would have been difficult to get all the necessary approvals.

But it was in Canada (according to the OP's "Flag") and the rules are different up there.

Oops. I was going off the OP's location. I missed it in the vid.

Same thing applies. Mexican airspace rules are different than in the US.

And it would have been "Excuse me, eh" :)
