President Biden, critics corner

Are you saying the EIA is wrong because it was cited by a conservative?

You didn’t quote the EIA saying anything about Biden. This is why you’re a troll.

If I were to use MSNBC (your favorite news source) there would be no inflation, fentanyl deaths, border crisis, increase in crime, lower standard of living, ballooning deficits, etc.

These are lies. This is why you’re a troll.

The headline from MSNBC on your Goggle search?  “Republican plan for inflation still nowhere to be found”

Thanks for making my point

If I were to use MSNBC (your favorite news source) there would be no inflation,

This was your point. My point is that it was a lie, which you have just proved.

And again, you have had to gloss over the fact that the EIA had nothing to do with your claims about Biden’s policies, another thing that you were trolling about.

So to distract from your lies about the liberal media and misleading quoting of a person whose job it is to promote the conservative agenda you quote another person whose job it is to promote the conservative agenda?

Again, this isn’t a researcher or economist who happens to have come to the conclusion that liberal policies in this area are bad, this is someone who is paid to be pro-conservative and anti-liberal across the board.

"One of President Donald Trump’s lesser known but profoundly damaging legacies will be the explosive rise in the national debt that occurred on his watch. The financial burden that he’s inflicted on our government will wreak havoc for decades, saddling our kids and grandkids with debt.

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country."

For which America has nothing to show for it. Thats all you need to know about the republican inflation plan for America. Now interest rates are rising.

If you don’t believe me, maybe you will believe Joe Biden.

Biden said:

“We are going to get rid of fossil fuels.”

Joe Biden in 2020: "No more subsidies for the fossil fuel industry. No more drilling including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill period. It ends."

Biden: “I Guarantee You We’re Going To End Fossil Fuel”

During the second Democratic debate on July 31, Dana Bash asked the former vice president "would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?"

"No, we would, we would work it out," Biden responded. "We would make sure it's eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those, either -- any fossil fuel."

Have oil and gas subsidies been eliminated?

Ideologically, do you support government intervention in the free market?

IMO, one issue is lack of accountability on how the funds are spent.

Hi Bill,

First off. I promise, I won't misgender you again, LOL. Worst yet, I labeled you a newbie awhile back, my apologies.LOL

Seems we are like-minded on this issue.

https://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/paying-for-college/articles/2017-09-20/see-20-years-of-tuition-growth-at-national-universities

The rising cost of education is an obvious problem too.https://research.com/universities-colleges/college-tuition-increase

"With this, the U.S. is the number one country among 35 OECD countries with the highest tuition fees. As a result, U.S. students and graduates feel the adverse effects of rising college tuition, such as steep student loans, delays in major life decisions, and dropping out of college." Boy, they own your ass now. A Navient new world slave.

On a personal note my daughter is pissed, so is the wife, to the tune of $20 grand. We did the right  thing, seems that will cost you big these days, especially when you live in the middle.

The moral hazard of debt has become abstract when it comes to education loans, some think without consequence.

The upshot,  Biden's latest giveaway only increased the cost of a degree by $10 grand this year. LOL

I was hoping you'd get a kick out of this

As for those already getting Uncle Joe's warbucks, look no further than the Gov't employees, and teachers of union membership of course, remember Public Service has benefits too.

As for the Biden speech, Who is running this production?

To their credit least they picked a perfect time to release it,when nobody gives a shit, but god awful speech writing, and visuals speak for themselves, ominous.

I thought Ingsoc was in the house too,you weren't alone.

I agree,The color coordination, well that's a striking resemblance to the National Socialist Workers Party.

Ever wonder why Youtube, removed the thumbs down counter.

Then there is the president who went to a D-Day commemoration. only to disparage service personal for: He  " said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed....

Trump, on that same trip, asked aides, “Who were the good guys in this war?” He also said that he didn’t understand why the United States would intervene on the side of the Allies."

At other times he stated re:Senator John McCain, who spent more than five years as a prisoner of the North Vietnamese: “He’s not a war hero,” Trump said in 2015 while running for the Republican nomination for president. “I like people who weren’t captured.”

at least he was there and didn't forget about it during our "Long weekend" The Atlantic Article that gives you such .... well ,you're parroting for for steve's wife. Hearsay is wonderful. Wonder if you recall what Bollten said about the morning.

Actions will always speak louder than words.

Then why have you quoted Biden in the 'critics' thread?

It was this part that was germane.

“Dana Bash asked the former vice president "would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?"

"No, we would, we would work it out," Biden responded”

Other than a mantra of tax the rich, What is the Democratic national debt reduction plan, the Biden inflation reduction plan?

"we can't spend our way out of inflation" or deficits. In your words, That's all you need to know.

The videos you post are like parodies of themselves.  I recall a Simpson's episode where the local TV station added fake flames behind the mayor to make him look like the devil.  That was, back then, a joke.

happy labor day brent,

We're in our usual heatwave in LA, an energy shortage of our own making, again. It's called a flex alert we're asked to rise our t-stats and not run major appliances. A bureaucratic way of extracting a premium for incompetence and cart before the horse mentality. Is an electric car a major appliance?  https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/25/california-bans-the-sale-of-new-gas-powered-cars-by-2035.html

On the plus side, right when I didn't think Gavin had two brain cells,a spark appeared between them. It's a small win over here, far and few between.

So why did you quote all the stuff about subsidies that you actually support Biden’s policy on?
