This is the first I've heard of this. Do you have a source? Specifically for the claims that 1) law enforcement was instructed to ignore crimes, and 2) that the protesters/rioters were hired guns.

Not that I'm "claiming" like rehmwa, but just because the article says there was no "stand down" order, doesn't mean that officers may not have ignored violent protester activity or deliberately decided not to escort many people to cars. Not so easy to disprove that willful negligence didn't happen. Maybe they felt overwhelmed and so thought "yeah, f*ck it", didn't want to leave their posts, or something else. Russians know what it is like to have a war on their soil. Maybe that is why they heed the warnings while the America people are oblivious to their aggressive and violent progressive political masters. Some will heed the warnings of Project Veritas and some will purposely choose to ignore it. But rest assured. War with Russia is much more likely to happen when a Donkey is sitting en la Casa Grande than if an Elephant is occupying the space. When I worked in the US as a highly skilled and highly experienced technology worker (I've been working in IT for 32+ years, 25 years ago I was sending TCP and UDP packets over the wire before most people had ever even heard about the internet), and when I worked in the USA I was exposed to some incredibly smart people as my work colleagues.
