I'm not opposed to a female VP running mate at all, but holy crap balls, pick one that makes sense.

Being that Cruz is already mathematically eliminated from the Republican nomination, he is hoping the choice of Fiorina will give him some needed momentum the rest of the way to keep Trump from reaching the 1237 Delegate threshold and force a contested/brokered convention, and roll the dice there.

Highly unlikely that it'll happen, even if most of the remaining states are out in the western half of the US, where Cruz has done well.
