I’ll note there is not a common link among them in regards to skill/intelligence. Some are among the sharpest people you will ever meet; for others it’s more down to situation, happenchance or family. Don’t be too easily impressed by bank account alone. Trump is a property developer. To me I hold drug dealers and black market arms dealers in higher regard than property developers (sorry to offend anyone who has ever repainted/flipped a 3bedroom house and calls themselves a “property developer”). It’s a truly dirty business, no matter what sums are involved and or what cities/countries are being discussed. I sometimes deal with them as their money spends as well as anyone else’s. However, I’d see it as embarrassing to have a property developer (I actually nearly spit saying the term) in serious consideration for President. When I was in business school in 80’s, I too bought a copy of Trumps “Art of the Deal” (I was young and impressionable).
