Character determines revelation. Before I can say "I saw also the Lord," there must be something corresponding to God in my character. wolfriverjoe 1,362 #22 July 13, 2010 Serious answer: None. Not a single one. If you consider the types that want to ban stuff, they always want to control how you think. They claim to be "protecting the children" or to be "offended" or "insulted" by the books, but mainly they want to stop people from getting ideas they don't like. This does not include things that require hurting innocent people to produce it, like child porn. Just like freedom of speech, if I want to express ideas that others don't like, I have to allow them to express ideas that I don't like. Not so serious answer (but think about it a little): I do favor reasonable restrictions on them and the people who read them. Required education so that the reader can differentiate between truth and fiction. Limits on the length of the books and the number of plot twists in a given book. Requiring locks on them so that untrained people can't misuse them. Since the pen is mightier than the sword, shouldn't there be similar restrictions??
