Vallerina 2 #1 March 5, 2004 So, I read these forums a bit, and I try to get a better understanding people. Many times, guys see posts of beautiful girls that they've never met, talked to, emailed and know nothing about. They'll say things along the lines of, "Wow! I'd like to hit that!" or "Man, I wish I could find a girl like that!" Pretty much, many guys claim that they want to find and have sex with an impossibly attractive woman. However, this is where I get confused. Some of the men who ogle at pictures of girls who are insanely pretty claim that personality and intelligence is more important. So, for these straight men that ogle at such pictures, my question for you is do you drool when you listen to intelligent women speak? Do you find yourself fantasizing about comedians who make you laugh your butt off? My theory is that guys who fantasize about models and look at them a lot say, "Personality is more important," because they know they're not going to get someone that good looking. Maybe my theory is wrong, though! Oh! Yeah! You didn't say that "I wanna Marry that" So - impossibly beautiful women are just that - impossible. It may be fun to joke and even partake in the fantasy, and the hot chick IS usually a fun time for a one or two night stand. Personality wins over though. I'm not sayin that you cannot be impossibly gorgeous and have a personality too, but the odds of a woman of that stature being able to "click" with your personality are slim. In which case we, as men, form you in our minds. We erase whatever flaws there might be and "See" you differently. That is why it is not a lie when you tell the one you love that she is the most beautiful woman you have ever seen - it is likely the truth. If it’s just sex, then personality don’t really matter if you think you can really do a f@*k buddy, one night, don’t call me, I’ll never see you again, type of “relationship”. If you’re interested in a potential life long partner, then after the initial attraction, the intelligence, personality, morals, etc. come into play! It goes back to animalistic evolutionary objectives. For the male, the ultimate objective would be to “spread his seed far and wide” and ideally to the most fit females. The female’s objective is two fold: first to find the best physically fit male to fertilize her, then to find the best provider to support her and her offspring. They can even be the same male, lol. Miss Right - a good looking woman who has the personality and intelligence level worth spending time with. Girls do the same thing. Chase hunks around and get treated poorly until they tire of it, then date a guy who is nice to them for a while. Women are such animals some times. This has very little to do with who they want to spend any time with, but everything to do with spreading their genes around. It's wired in their brains. Humans UNlike most animals also have an extensive language capability and if you think about it, humans are the ONLY animals that can have phone sex. So what does this have to do with comedy? In order for a person to be good at verbal comedy, the person must have a command of the language and must be able to put it together in interesting ways.
