I would go to my "home DZ" where I did all of my training, etc since I took the day off, but I don't think they are really doing anything special for Safety Day and another DZ in the area is. If so, I'll be heading out to one of the local DZ's(not sure which one yet, so many to choose from). My home DZ doesn't seem to be doing anything for safety day.. She looks like a lady to me: Friday: 75 degrees, winds 5-10 mph Saturday: 80 degrees, winds 5-10 mph Sunday: low 80's, chance of isolated showers Gonna skip work Friday to hit the mini-boogie at my local DZ, then do safety day and some jumping on Saturday at the same place. weegegirl 2 #18 March 11, 2004 If you are in Michigan, Skydive Tecumseh's safety day starts at Noon, Saturday, rain or shine. This is the description sent in an email from the staff: "We will be holding a seminar which will cover various safety issues that everyone needs to be aware of and to brush up on skills necessary to keep Skydive Tecumseh a safe place to jump. You will also have the opportunity to go through your emergency procedures in one of the hanging harnesses. We will jump after Safety Day is over."
