Just a dusting of snow, basically. Not driving OTR yet either. We just decided today to take the 2 large upstairs bedrooms and divide them in half, so all 4 kids can have their own bedrooms. It shouldn't add much in time though.

I REALLY need to finish it though. I gotta get outta here and down where it's warm (and Birdy Man-able).

Soooo, and clue as to how long Dave's progression will be delayed?

We've had a couple inches (times 4) and I really miss the warm climes. I was all ready to move there when all of this happened. Well, If all is well, and any of these job bites that Dave has had pans out, we will be at a dz soon. He has an interview tomorrow, and some others happened a week or so ago, so heres to keeping the faith!

Sorry, but the NASCAR fan in me will miss August 6-8 while Im in Indy for the Brickyard.
NOW.... I cannot (financially) spend the entire week in Rantoul, even though I have that whole week off. SO.... Should I go straight there on Monday from Indy and stay until, maybe Thursday ? Or wait to go to Rantoul Thursday through Sunday??

The last Sunday is a sad day since everything is getting torn down, people are leaving and planes are going home. Plus its the recovery day from Saturday nights bonfire party

The best plan? Got straight from Indy to Rantoul till Sunday. You can survive on $15 a day if you don't jump. Its a great chance to sit down and talk to every vendor under the sun. Want to discuss with PD about canopy flight, they have 2 reps and the factory team there to talk to. Wanna figure out how to pack the reserve of a Racer? Jumpshack is there. Need a jumpsuit... 3 or 4 companies are there.

Go with your first option on this one. The second weekend is when people are leaving/have left -- there are weird things that happen then, though, so I'd guess it depends on what you want out of the experience; if you want to meet the most people and do more jumps, come earlier.

The real party is Thrusday through Saturday night. The really good jumping is around midweek. So....like JCman said...depends on what you want out of it.


I may be at WFFC 04. I'm trying to make up my mind between WFFC and Lost Prarie. I went to WFFC 2002 but have never jumped in Montana even though I have a house there. (Not that I get much chance to visit.) We'll just have to see how it works out.

I gotta say some of you Yanks are soft...whinging about not making the WFFC..think about all us poor foreigners (especially us Aussies) who have to travel half way round the world just to get there...now thats commitment!
