Dear Perplexed If you worked for a major skydiving gear distributor, I'd suggest that you offer out free pull-up cords, koozies and the like from your undoubtedly-plentiful stock. I'd also suggest the offer of a free parachute or rig for the lovely Sunshine and her stand-in Moonshine (edited to say: I'll bet the discussions would change , and it would certainly make the shine sisters happy!) There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence.
