2 toggles on each risor. The steering toggle has 2 lines running to the outside 1 and a half cells and the flare toggle has 6 lines that run to the centre of the canopy. Down to 1000 feet I use just the steering toggles so the toggle pressure is kept to a minimum. I pick up the flare toogles at 1000 ft till landing. You'll notice the difference after a full days jumping! 2 wrongs don't make a right - but 3 lefts do.

Look very carefully at exactly what ratings / licences that you will receive. A friend of mine recently had to spend a considerable ammount of $ above what he paid at the course in order to crossover the ratings he received so that he could be work in NZ. 2 wrongs don't make a right - but 3 lefts do.

The politics here are 'interesting'. I think the best option is to go with an NZPIA DZ as this organisation has the best 'street cred' and will make it easier to crossover your jumps with any organisation overseas. Good luck in your quest. 2 wrongs don't make a right - but 3 lefts do.

Who is the Part 149 organiation that issues the licenses? I'm not sure if ParaNZ still exists or not. A few weeks ago I heard that ParaNZ had thrown it's toys out of the cot. I have since heard that it is now back on the playing field. Anyone know what the true status is? 2 wrongs don't make a right - but 3 lefts do.

I know a girl who let her ego get in way of her abilities. 300 jumps, 2nd jump on a Crossfire 2 129 with cameras on her head. Smashed herself up to the point 8 months ago that she's lucky to be walking on sticks at the moment. Apparently there was 'turbulance' on landing and no fault of hers. Yeah right.....
