  2. Well since my friends and I tried to perform a satanic ritual once and burned the bible in our attempt to contact satan, and I never apologized to god for it and never will, I guess Im stuck here on earth. Im working, double time pay on the day of the rapture. After work Im going to loot a Piper Super Cub to fly around. Maybe pick satan up if he's not busy. I think Ill enjoy a republican free world.
  3. Maybe do a jump with an instructor and just work on recovering from flips and rolls the whole jump. Get the confidence thing up, since you're worried you may not be able to recover. Then you wont have the worry anymore. Have fun, and overcome that fear!
  4. Make like a tree and get out of here. Smooth as a babies rectum. Edit:Smooth as a babies rectum.
  5. Well there you go Shah. Get some fire insurance, leave the lights on, and your condo problem is solved.

  7. I turned up the volume on your link to annoy my girlfriend (been annoying her all day on purpose) and shes trying to sleep now. She yells, "Why do you hate me? Turn the computer down. Why are you listening to that?". I say, "Airwardo put it on the computer, not me". Her, "Whos Airwardo?" Me, "What are you a cop" She shuts her door quietly. I won that one

  9. Great video! Its funny like Christian death metal bands
  10. Has anyone attended his class? I see he has a class in Jersey at the end of the month which means I have to pay for a flight plus the class. Is it worth the extra money to go and learn from his class? I don't mind paying the cash to be a better/safer pilot, just don't want waste any loot if I can learn the same from my instructors. The whole canopy situations make me eager to learn and better my canopy skills sooner than later. Thanks.
  11. Soldiers are conditioned/programmed to live and deal with living in a wartime environment. They arent reconditioned/reprogrammed for normal society when they get back home. I think if they were to be trained to be regular civilians again the suicide rate would be lower.
  12. True. It will just cost more for the crimes they now will commit to get money for drugs if they get denied welfare. Wasting more money and time with police, the courts, jails, ect. Let them do drugs. Why produce more crime with more legislation. did you just propose paying criminals to not commit crimes? I didn't propose it, its just the way it works out. Say shelters didn't feed our homeless if they were to test positive for drugs, they'd be stealing food to survive (more crime). The problem with the EBT cards in California (don't know about elsewhere) is that I've seen a few times at checkout, the EBT user gets asked by the clerk if they want cash back, then hands them cash. A first step would be to eliminate getting cash.

  14. I started Karthiks condolence thread since not many people knew him amongst the small knit community of skydivers, being he was new to the sport. I just want to give him, his family and friends the respect he deserves as any falling member of our community would get. Maybe his family will read this and feel some of the love we have for each other. Whether we know each other personally or from a distance, we all feel the effect of losing one of our own. For Karthik and his obvious pursuit of adventure in life, blue skies man.
  15. Just buy your rig and used main. Demo a few different canopies and decide what comfortable for your flying style. Compare them to your current main. Sell your first main if you decide on something else. That's what Im doing, still waiting for Vector to make my rig though The 22 week wait. Edit:Spelling
  16. Congratulations man! That first solo was my favorite jump! So relaxing.
  17. For me, I've always had dreams (and still do) of flying since I could remember. In those dreams I would run down big hills and gently lift off to venture around the skies. When I was in 3rd grade I saw my dreams of flying on TV, people skydiving. I begged my mother to go skydive. That was met with a stern NO! So the very next day at school I found the highest thing I could jump off and land safely (so I thought). The gym bleachers seemed like a nice height, about 20 feet. It had an open coat room next to it full of coats to land on. I jumped belly first (mimicking the skydivers) and broke and fractured my middle finger. Got to go to the hospital and detention for that stunt. Did a tandem about 10 years ago, then decided to learn to fly aircraft from that jump. The sky felt like I should be there, I didn't feel out of place for once. A bit more mature now and a steady job let's me afford jumping. My crooked finger always reminded me of what I wanted to do, now I live my dream! What made you come to the sky?
  18. I don't see why it would be a problem that you're a skydiver. My boss let's me take half days during the week to go jumping if the weathers good, they expect it. On some nice days he even asks if Im going jumping. I guess I have it good.
  19. My friend Jason, his family and friends need some good healthy vibes. Tomorrow he goes for a PET scan after his dose of chemotherapy about 3 weeks ago. Hopefully it will show some signs of improvement from his declining health from leukemia. A little over a month ago I went to visit him. Our master plan was to go for a skydive, he's always wanted to try it and really thrilled to go. His health at the time didn't let us get up there. We got out to see some bands play for an hour, the smile on his face was the most awesome thing about it.
  20. Being fortunate enough to have another day to enjoy the experience of life.
  21. Hospital bills or the price of some new tires? Id go with the cheaper price tag. You'll rest easier. Call it an early birthday present.
  22. Funny how the religious crowd makes themselves look stupid with their "blind faith" proving the word of "god" (early man without science) to be wrong/flawed, once again.
