Cool. For once, I agree with the 9th Circuit. I've always wondered how the Feds get away with that crap. Their only justification for gun regulation is "interstate commerce". So it seems to me, that if I buy a gun within my own state, not crossing a state line, then I should have to deal only with state law, and not federal law. But alas, you still have to undergo the federal background check and paperwork. So it seems to me that the feds have taken over another state right. I imagine the BATF will fight that 9th Circuit ruling to the hilt. The feds don't like being told to buzz off. I was talking to ATF earlier this week and the person I talked to was hoping that it goes through as it will pump a few million into their budget every year .

To what court case are you referring? There is a case they ruled on a few weeks ago finding that the ban was not legal . They said that as long as the guns are not involved in interstate commerce that it is legal to build your own full auto . At this time it appears that the guns will not be allowed to leave the state they were built in . ATF is sitting on a shitpile of form 1's from individuals awaiting a final ruling .

We may soon be able to make our own full autos again thanks to the 9th circuit court . If you want to make your own become a class II manufacturer , fill out a form 1 and mail it off to ATF and wait a month or so for them to mail it back to you . Then assemble your parts kit and it's time to rock and roll .

The reason it is being banned is that drug companies are losing sales on prescription weight loss drugs and they want the sales back . You do not need ephedra to make meth as other ways to cook the shit have been found .

I have never been busted but have seen footage that a friend of mine sold and profited from on tv with me in it . It really pissed me off as another person was busted because of this video . I sued the person that sold the video and won as he did not have a signed release and forced the assholes that bought the video to never broadcast it again . My face was very clear in the video and could have fucked me over . If you want your face plastered all over the place go big baby , but for me and my crew that has NEVER been arrested we will stay in the shadows . I use Sinar and Cambo cameras all the time and they amaze the shit out of me . Large format is a steep learning curve but worth all the trouble when you get the image you want . I love digital but large format is the shit . I have a Cambo bellows ordered for my 1ds and can't wait for the fun to begin .
