Windtunnel Xanadu, Meadowlands in New Jersey NFW!!!

No kidding. I'm at Chelsea Piers at least twice a week and would love to have a tunnel there. Unfortunately, I emailed Skyventure in August and got the following response: "That project (Chelsea Piers) at this time is not going to happen. The closest tunnel will be at the meadowlands new project (Xanadu) and should open early 09." Ah well.... -m

    Learning Blocks

    Best place to start is probably the NSL A Class block pool: blocks 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 19, and 21 from ftp://www.fai.org/parachuting/competition_rules/fs4_pool_2005.pdf

    Question

I don't know any actual statistics, but I do know that it's not at all uncommon. I've personally seen dozens of people that age (and older) going through AFF.

    Additional Alti for canopy ride...

Switch it for the analog on your left wrist. It works great in freefall as well. Keep the analog as a backup or sell it.
  5. 400+ jumps and 4.5 years in the sport. No reserve rides yet....
  6. Don't think that's too out of the ordinary. It may have come from holding your arms back in the arch the whole time. Maybe not, but I've had all kinds of new and exciting muscle soreness since I started jumping, so I don't think this is something about which to worry. And yes, you do get used to the leg straps. Keep in mind that tandem harnesses are "one size fits all", whereas a custom-fit sport harness is designed specifically for the jumper. There is a world of difference in terms of comfort. Congrats on the first jump. Only 9999 more to go...
