    Speeding

Do 55 instead of 50. Cars are most efficient at that speed. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, all used up, and loudly proclaiming: Wow, what a ride!
  2. Well score one for me...ahem...I mean darn that's totally not me. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, all used up, and loudly proclaiming: Wow, what a ride!

  4. Oh I get it. "canopy" is a euphemism for penis. It also looks like "swoop" is a euphemism for going downtown(which if I am not mistaken is also a euphemism... referring to oral sex performed on a female) ? Amirite? 5. Being that this thread has been an epic fail, I think that the ladies should just post pics of their asses. It would truly turn this thread into an epic one imo. 7. 28/2 + 7 = 21. Pervert. How about if it's a 3way with her twin sister? God if only she had a twin sister. I'd be one happy guy. 8. Fuck that. I'm 28 and I'm banging an 19 year old. As far as I'm concerned I'm not a damn pervert... ok well maybe I am but not for banging a 19 year old. 9. Dude I know how you feel. I just started back in the dating game about a year ago and I had the same thing happen to me as well with the first 4 or 5 girls I met. It sucks ass. Honestly though, no girl is worth losing sleep over. When shit like that happens its easy to move on and find someone else. Although I have to agree that if they lose interest, just be honest and say so. It makes things easier on both sides. You don't leave us wondering and as a result we(usually) leave you alone. 15. Thought it would be funny to create some of the shortest self help books written. The process is simple. Think of a person most of us would know and make up a book they would write that would be really short. Example: How To Lay Low and Stay Out of the Media Spotlight. By Lindsay Lohan. Foreward by Britney Spears. (for you poker players out there) How to Remain Calm and be a Gentleman at the Poker Table. By Phil Hellmuth Etc etc you get the idea. Now you try. 16. ok so as I'm going through AFF our instructors have been letting us know that we should be looking into buying gear soon. obviously the usual(helmet, goggles, jump suit, ect.) but have also told us to start looking into rigs. the problem I seem to be having is I can't decide whether I should go new or used. I'm 6'1" about 220lbs. everywhere I've looked the prices for a used rig is gonna run me anywhere from $3000 to $3500 for the kind and size I'm looking for with no aad. the thing is, I found a website offering brand new rigs for $3800 and no aad. all the gear I'm looking at is good beginner gear and the new rig I'm looking at is a wings container, aerodyne pilot main and smart reserve(all of which I've run by my instructors and they say would be good gear) so while I have already talked to my instructors, I'm curious what you people here have to say as to what I should get. knowing what I've just said, should i go new or used? 20. not from the area but welcome to the forums. as far as wingsuit goes though, take it a step at a time. you need at least 200 jumps I believe before you can learn to wingsuit. but anyways good luck and let us know how you do. I'm doing jump number 4 in AFF this weekend. its so much fun. blue skies Ryan. 21. AFF wasn't enjoyable for you? I love it. Just finished C1 and I'm having the time of my life. Can't wait till Saturday to start my jumps with one instructor. Anyways, well written and the advice is spot on. 22. Well due to crappy new England weather my first jumps were put off for a bit. But I finally got to start jumping and let me tell you it was amazing. I did my first 3 jumps of AFF this past weekend and passed them all. My instructors told me that on jump 3 when I am released for the first time that my body position was almost perfect and I was stable as can be. They said I have a bit of a lean to the right but other than that my body position is perfect. As a result, I have gained a ton of confidence in my ability and am looking forward to jumping again this weekend. God I love this sport. It's so exhilarating yet so relaxing. People who don't do this are totally missing out. 23. As most will tell you on here, don't worry about buying a rig just yet. Wait until you finish training and get your a license before you start thinking about what rig to buy. Your instructors will tell you what you should get anyways. If you insist on buying gear, start off with a helmet, goggles and altimeter. But again ask your instructors before buying anything. I just started myself and I have a lot more on my mind to worry about than buying a rig. Just relax and have fun with it. Blue Skies! 25. This place is awesome. The people are great. The atmosphere is friendly. Awesome instructors. I've never felt so welcome in a place where I was the new guy. There's never been a time where I felt out of place or uncomfortable. Safety is their biggest concern for everyone and they pound it into our heads everyday. I feel safe there knowing that I'm being taken care of and watched over by, seemingly, some of the best in the business. These people know what they're doing and it shows. As long as I'm in new England this will always be my home dz.
