  1. Optimus prime is a great one. I'm leaning towards Paul for the male. Paul! Who would name their cat Paul? It's a humans name. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, all used up, and loudly proclaiming: Wow, what a ride!
  2. I've read some pretty great threads on this forum and this one by far takes the cake. The one about the mother whos son had died in Iraq really hit me hard. I was crying at work after reading that one. It's stories like that that make me want to become a ti(start my AFF in April) its gotta be such a great feeling to become part of an amazing experience in someone else's life. 3. Being that I'm very new to skydiving I just had a question. When someone has their first parachute malfunction, is something like that looked upon as a badge or accomplishment people wear sort of like in a Bronx tale when the kid gets arrested for the first time and they're waiting outside of the courtroom and celebrate it? provided it wasn't through negligence of course. or is it looked at as a "holy shit I made it out of that and I'm still alive" type of thing? Just curious. 5. I'd love to get it done sooner but my local dz starts them in April and I can't head south till summer. So I'm stuck waiting till April. Oh well. It's worth the wait. 6. Hey everyone. New to the forums and wanted to say hey. I've done 2 tandem jumps this year and have developed somewhat of an obsession with skydiving since. This April my local dz starts their AFF course and I'm finally going to work on getting my a license. I've never looked forward to something like I have this and I'm pumped. That being said, does anyone have any advice they'd like to give? If so, it'd be more than welcome. Also anyone jump at skydivect in ellington, ct? If so, I look forward to jumping with you!
