Airlines will pay for your lost or damaged or lost rig if you buy the extra insurance up to $5000 for $13 US. Me being a Newbie my Rig was much to big to lug on the plane.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Welcome to the Club.

I was taught to look over my shoulder as well. I was taught on a throw out system they taught this in cases of a lazy throw its gives your pilot chute a chance to clear the burble. Although I throw out like my life depends on it because uh well IT DOES!! Veterans chime in if I’m wrong.

Welcome to the club just a part of our personality I guess. We all should probably make more jumps just fun no objectives just get out in the air and enjoy the view.

Sure Dave we were visiting Lake Wales in Fl. it was the 25th of February my Wife was shooting the landing from the observation area. BTW thank to all the people in Lake Wales had a great time. More than a hand full of people helped me with packing (My first Rig and all) and special thanks to a Guy named Andy (I think he was Australian because he called me mate.) His packing technique is the one I've tried to adopt and works best for me. Chris

Hello all Recently on a skydive We made my cheststrap loosened on deployment! When I felt it a cold chill ran down my back I thought I had miss-routed it. I checked it and it wasn't miss-routed just loose. My question is what could have caused this bad body position or what? BTW the opening was not hard I assume I had good body position. I don't know what happened I am truly puzzled. Any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thanks
