    I'm hungry

Definietely Sushi!! Although a good REAL taco is a close second
  2. Froggie, I think that's an excellent idea with the stick figures for regulars
  3. Beanie? How'd you know about Beanie? I'm not worried about her being PO'd about me posting that, TBH, I told the same story to all of her friends Yeah, I'll be there for the american boogie.
  4. Hehe.. I'm torn between agreeing with Skreamer's post or rattling off computer abbreviations
  5. Ok, here's my most recent embarassing moment. MY girlfriend went for surgery a few months ago. She has a few body piercings which we had to remove the morning of the surgery. That night, she pleaded for me to put them back in so they wouldn't close up. Being the nice guy I am, I brought along the pair of pliers to close the loops. So here I am, in a semi private room with a pair of plyers between my girlfriends legs, when she accidently hit's the nurse call button. The Nurse comes in and catches us in the middle of it all. I never saw someone apologize and leave so quickly in my life. Good news is that I got 2 of the rings back in that nite.
  6. CISCO!!! MCSE's are a dime a dozen. Also, experience is what really matters. I've seen so many paper MCSE's who don't know anything about NT.
  7. Uh.... Can't do. I don't know any responsible adults

    I did it!!

Way to go Pammi!!!! Gotta luv them flips!! How'd you feel about doing them?
  9. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think an employer can discriminate based on personal hobbies. People at my work know I'm a skydiver, I don't advertise it but it's hard to miss (skydiving pictures on the walls, Dropzone.com usually open on my computer, USPA sticker on the car, etc...). I've done quite a bit of interviewing for perspective employees and when I do, I need to keep to the professional aspect of the person. Can't ask about marital status, kids, etc... Then again, I do live in CA where you can get sued for anything On the other hand, if someone does decide not to hire you because they think you are a risk, it'd be REALLY hard to prove they discriminated because you skydive. My best piece of advice, Spell check your resume!!!! That, and if you're gonna BS on experience, make sure you can walk the walk.
  10. I guess I might as well throw my hat into the ring. I manage a technical support team of 7 for a biomedical company. Built so many computers I can't even count them anymore. Here's the REAL geekiness, we just built an addition to the house and I now have the frigging thing wired for network. FreeBSD box (handbuilt) running firewall and internet access, 4 workstations, backup drives, RAID arrays, and soon a clustered web server. Anyone need anything hosted :) Do I qualify?

    I'm outa here!

actually, Prostitution is ILLEGAL in Vegas. You have to leave Clark county to get to the legal stuff. That is unless they changed the law in the last coupla years.

    OMRI OMRI!!! OMRI!!!! (
  13. Congrats Froggie!!!! Keep them stories comin, I wanna hear them
  14. Tracking as a tandem? Double holy F@CK!!!!
  15. SkyDance is going to get a SkyVan? That would be Awesome!!!! I was talking to one of the packers last week about the 2nd Caravan which is somewhere else and he was mentioning that Ray was in NZ working out a deal for some new plane that is designed from the ground up to be a jumpship. Supposed to hold >20 and climbs 1700 feet a minute. 8 minutes to altitude will be really cool
  16. I had to take my GF to Kaiser Hospital after she biffed it good. She told them that she fell down a flight of stairs. Uh huh, broken finger, sprained wrist and ankles. They kept saying to her, "A flight of stairs? Yeah sure!!". Funny part was she was wearing one of her Skydiving T-shirts
  17. You know, nobody asked the important question: Did the Beer survive?
  18. That's my understanding as well. SkyDance made Skreamer do a Coached Jump (They call it a twilight 4) which is basically an AFF L4 before they let him go solo. Same thing when you aren't current. I was checking out Cross Keys since I have to go to NJ next week and they require that you jump with an instructors supervision.
  19. Stupid question: Do your AFF jumps count towards the A license? Gary
  20. Alias, Like I said, the point is to go unstable and then get back to stable. My AFF back flips (and forward) were VERY sloppy. Rolled sideways, made 2 instead of one. My instructors told me not to worry about being graceful, cause they probably won't be, and they weren't. I didn't fail becuase I got back to a belly to earth position, which is the whole point. You'll do fine, just remember to ARCH when you are coming out of it or feel out of control. Gary
  21. Pammi, Are you still doing AFF? If so, the point is to see if you can go completely unstable and back to stable again. FLips are fun too. I was having a blast yesterday just doing back flips and popping right back into the box position. Big difference from my AFF flips which were REALLY messy
  22. Yeah, N thanks for pointing out how sick I was. I'm feeling a little better today but you never know, I think a relapse is imminent.
  23. At least I know how Skreamer got his nickname now. When I got to Skydance, I saw this guy Screaming under a big Red/White and Blue canopy. Said to myself, "yeah, that must be Skreamer"
  24. Wow!!! You got 6 in Yesterday? Cool!!! I was really bummed that I missed that last load. Oh well, Packing class on Sunday, Then I can only blame myself for missing a load :) BTW, It was great jumping with you yesterday Skreamer!! Are you out there today? I thought I saw a peep of blue skies this morning.
  25. Yeah, I think you're right :) Yes, mr Boss, I think I'm coming down with currencitis. Very rare disease and only 1 known cure. I think it's contagious so I had better not come in today. Hehe.... I think it'll work. Hell I don't care if it does, what are they gonna do, page me?
