I own a Jav DKNY and have a Katana135 in it. Fits fine it is not loose but not a brick either.

The Ranch has a bunch of wingsuiters on any given day. Sussex will have a smallish boogie with a skyvan that weekend so maybe more dresses than usual. Pretty much the same distance from NYC and only an hour apart....I'd hit em both up.

Used to fly at 2.4. Now fly at 1.7.

I have the hidden wrist and ankle cuff spandex on my Vertical suit and I really like it. No downside for me but I could imagine if you were using an analog alti where the strap goes way up your wrist the spandex may get in the way. I wear a Neptune with a wrist strap (no finger loop) and have had no issues. Would order it that way again.

I have Bursitis in my right shoulder. Orthopedic Dr told me to take 2 Alleve twice a day. It took about 4-5 days for it to build up in my system but by taking Alleve consistently my pain and inflammation has decreased dramatically. I can tell if I forget to take it for a day or two.

I broke C7, L1, and L2 and I used to fly a Velo. Currently jump a Katana @ 1.7 WL and the openings are 800-1100 feet depending upon how I pack. Still super fun to fly and the openings are not searching like my Velo's used to.

1200+ jumps. Zero cutaways.

Years ago we did a lunar eclipse load at Cross Keys and it was awesome. Half the plane decided they wanted to pull high and check it out. It was late Oct or Nov so it was pretty cold and no one bothered to tell the high pulling folks that they wouldn't really get to see much :) Really cool ride to altitude to watch the eclipse and then freefly in the dark!!! Would do it again without question.

2nd Vt Skydive Adventures. Place has the best view and sunsets over the lake.

Sounds like the harness/container was too big. Similar thing happened to me when I was just starting out and jumping rental gear. Had to climb up the risers to get to the toggles...never jumped that rig again.

Don't have a dog in this fight on the non compete but I saw a video on Facebook of a kid I know doing a tandem out there this summer. Perfectly clear day with no clouds and they got out of the plane at 8,100 feet. Granted the video intro says they only go to 10k but the alti shot in the door says 8k. Looks like its a smooth way to make cash of newbies for not much of a skydive.

I do not disagree that not sharing the serial number is a major red flag. Was just saying that most scammers cast a wide net and work quickly. This guy does not fit that profile.

I responded to the ad in December and did not get a reply. The seller contacted me last week to say that the previous buyer he had been dealing with had fallen through and to see if I still had any interest. The email was not pushy and he detailed size and that he was original owner. I don't have a dog in this fight but in my opinion if he were a scammer mining this site for cash he would've responded to any/all that were interested back in December.

he has not done the voice over in two years. in fact he has not been in a recording studio in four; they used stock audio footy for two years. it's a fact.

Stowe/Suggerbush is the place to be and stay. Check out Miguels for cheap lodging, good food, and beer. The Shed is fun spot for drinks as well. The mountain ale will put you on your ass! If you are feeling adventurous and can handle alot of the French Canadian vibe Jay Peak gets more snow than any place in VT. Fairly close to Montreal. VT is very green this time of year :)

I went to the industry premier in NYC a couple of weeks ago at the Avalon (old limelight). Interesting place to see a movie no doubt. There is some nice footy of DB in the wingsuit and Shane doing a bit of ski base. The overall ski/snowboard footy is sick. The Warren Miller Entertainment Group is definitely putting out a better product than they have in the past. This is the best WM flick I have seen yet.

You might be interested in checking out CPI the weekend of June 24-26th. We will have two super otters, the ct state rw record, freefly organizing, a kick ass bbq and bonfire, and the lawn darts will be there. We have a couple surprises up the sleeve as well but I don't want to let them out just yet. Free camping, showers, etc.

The dz in question is a club and a fine one at that. The responsibility/blame does not fall on one person for the idea. It is one of the oldest skydive clubs and membership is optional. Why should you get to decide what is appropriate for a club that you are not a member of? dz's are alot like bars. They all serve up the same stuff but it is packaged differently. Some bars you would take your family to have dinner and some you most certainly would not. I really do not understand what the big deal is. If you do not like the idea do not spend your money there. Not long ago there was a boogie being promoted where the theme was vibrating sex toys; and that idea got less of debate than this boogie/promotion. The thought of people walking around with dildos at the dropzone (while I like the idea) should illicit more of an outrage/debate than a discounted tandem ride for some persons mom. edited to add: There are alot of families at CPI. In fact I have never been to dz where there were more people related to each other than at CPI.

If the songs are coming from itunes than the times you mentioned to sync your iPod are way too long. I flaked and deleted my iPod one time and had to reload my itunes library, 3800+ songs takes less than twenty min. If you are still having troubles check out www.ipodlounge.com those cats cover iPod like this board covers skydiving. fyi.. do a search... they have their own versions of crazy ivan, aggie dave, and all of the characters that are on here. Most questions have been covered and it is easier than searching the online iPod manual.

Thank you for the mix. I was hoping with multiple DJ's in this thread someone could help me in finding some more tunes. With regard to electronic music I listen primarily to trance but am interested in something I heard on the Princeton U radio station. While on my way home from the dz I heard some d&b with early nineties dancehall reggae lyrics mixed in. I have emailed the radio station to get no response. Would be very interested in finding out other DJ's that mix dancehall w/ D&B/electronic.
