  2. Glad to know God supported Apartheid. I'm sure the oppression of millions of people helped mankind a lot.
  3. I have spoken to the ad team and there shouldn't be any pop-up ads, but they have said they are allowing 'roll over' ads, but it is my understanding that these should be easier in closing or avoid. If you can please screen shot this ad next time you see it and attach it to the post so I can see how obstructive it is and in turn, if it seems like it may have a blatant negative affect on the usability, I can then request that the ad be removed from the site.
  4. One way around it may be to get an ISO writing program, something where you can create ISO images, and then just mount the ISO with Daemon Tools. I know there are quite a few ISO compiling programs out there. 1. Research best program for creating ISO files (on the hard drive, not on DVD) 2. Once you have the software, create an ISO of your files you want to appear on the virtual DVD. 3. Mount that ISO image with Daemon Tools. I think that should work.
  5. Thanks for your feedback and your suggestions. We're currently looking at the list of suggestions we have and are looking at ways in the near future to really make the most out of the functionality. We currently have the ability to sort as one of the implementations we hope to add soon. I`ll be adding your other suggestion to the list.

  7. Alisson, Please note that the user above is a scammer and would send you a fraudulent cheque and request that you send them the gear. Posts in this area of the forum are dedicated to alerting the dropzone.com members who not to do business with. These scammers occur quite often and one should always follow this forum area to check if a user is listed as a scammer before they make any solid sale agreements.

Remember: DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance. Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer". Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check. 10. Apparently it's wrong to speak out about the prayers of the Christian faith, but I can assure you that most of these same people would be throwing chairs around if that school was praying to Allah and promoting Islam instead of Christianity. While I don't like it, I think one has the right to preach whatever they want to their kids in their own home. But when a specific religion is promoted in schools it's a completely different story. When I was in primary school they would force everyone to attend prayer, this in a public school. If you were a Jehovahs Witness or of other faith you were allowed to go and sit in a separate room while everyone else was in the main hall. Unfortunately for those few people, there were less than 20 of them out of 1000 students. So this handful of other people who had other religious beliefs were made fun of because their parents wouldn't let them attend the 'normal people' prayer. Religion is often pushed onto students in schools, and it clearly needs to be done away with. I can recall teachers pulling kids aside and telling them they need to get saved, if they weren't Christian. And completely looking down on them. Atheists aren't asking to change prayer time into Richard Dawkins hour, or promote anything that they belief. It's simply a request not to have what others believe thrown at you as an assumed truth. No one is saying don't allow the Christians at school to pray, what they're saying is, stop pushing Christianity forward as 'fact and truth' and then trying to claim it's expression religious freedom. The religious may only have a decent defence if the schools had prayers for all religions. But that's not how it works, despite there being a variety of religions in school, the schools choose to promote one as 'right' and use that by default, pushing their idea of the right religion onto the students. Pray where-ever you want, pray at restaurants, in the street, pray on a rollercoaster. Just don't try involve me with your prayers like schools do. Edit to add: My post is regarding religion in schools from my experience and may differ from the current actions of schools here or in the US. But the gist of the post is merely to show that religion is schools is just a way to ostracise minorities and to try push their faith in general. You don't need a gun to be a militant, some drive a BMW X3.

  12. Hi, Apologies, he managed to sneak through. I've double checked and disabled the username on all platforms. He should have no means to contact others via the classifieds again.
  13. With that said, I feel I must remind people - once we disable a user, he will still be able to contact you via e-mail if you had already spoken to him. Quite often I get asked why the person is still in contact with them. Once you have seen a user listed in the security and scam alert forum, you should cut all contact with the scammer immediately and block their e-mail address.

  15. Thanks for letting us know, I am forwarding along this issue so that the ad can be removed.
  16. Hah, I had that design printed out a few years ago because I wanted to get it because of the whole being straight edge and the irony of the mushroom as well as because Super Mario Bros was amazing. But when I took it to the place to get it done the really pretentious girl working the desk was like "oh I have that too! And so does my friend!", turns out almost every second person does. Kind of put me off, what can I say, I`m just a rebel that way. I'm sure that's going to trigger some ideas for males here looking to get some new ink ;o
  17. The local dropzone here in Cape Town, South Africa has some pretty mean views too. http://www.skydivecapetown.za.net/images/Graham/cape-town.jpg

And that would then explain why he gets laid so much, I knew there had to be something!

It's kind of important that he makes it past that swoop though. It'd wouldn't look nearly as cool ending with a cliff strike on the first exit.

    Balls Big Enough?

Dammit, he stole my idea - well most of it. Yeah very similar to that, though it'd be much sexier with a water swoop. And starting from a BASE just would increase testicular measurements a bit ;D

I should really make the time to read his book actually, it's been sitting next to my bed for almost a year now. So by right person... You mean an Australian, right? :p

    Balls Big Enough?

I was speaking to a BASE jumper friend the other day about potentially bad ass jumps and I pitched the idea that someone should locate an area where there is either a lake or small dam at altitude, or even a waterfall. But this lake or dam must be located right near the end of a steep vertical cliff at a height in excess of 250 feet preferably. But at the same time must be sufficently lower than the original exit point. The idea is then that the jumper then exits the original exit point wearing his original rig, but with a chest mounted reserve as well. He then opens his main canopy, swoops the lake/dam/waterfall and exits off the next drop, losing the main canopy and using the chest mounted reserve for the final landing. Now I not very knowledgeable in skydiving or BASE... So there may be so many holes in the theory alone... But... Could it be done? Has anyone done something similar before? The base jumper I was speaking to suggested there are a few locations which can offer a similar setup. Note that this thread is not very serious, just something that ran through my head as being awesome. And as you all know, if you swoop, you've already got giant nads, so BASE AND swooping... Well, you know... MS Paint artwork attached for clearer idea!
  23. You people sadden me... And there's no excuse for watching Jersey Shore - not even to 'laugh at how retarded those wastes of oxygen are'. NO.
