  1. + 1. Well put. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  2. Hats off to Typicalfish. Very nice. Well done. These are the gifts that make me smile. Very very cool. Peace "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  3. I called and left message at Z hills yesterday-still hoping to make this happen by Christmas. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  4. I'm tying to reach these folks for an order. I have tried their contact method on their website for about month with no luck. Anyone know of a phone number or different email address? My guess is gremlins is skewing their order form method. Any help is appreciated-i'm ready to order. I have contacted Z Hills and trying to get a message that way also. The lady i talked to said 80 degrees and blue skies. Here in Missouri it's 15 degrees and snowing. Sounds like time for trip south. 5. Just amazes me that they can stay in business with this community so tired of their antics. Would be nice if all vendors would refuse to do business with them. No gear, no aircraft etc-soon they would be out of business. Also seems like a good story for one of our TV news magaizines that profiles fraud-similar to the whole auto mechanic thing-as long as they pointed out that most in our community are straight forward and forthright. Blows me away that they are still around. A good public outing of who all is principle and involved with this operation should be heads up for others to steer clear. Doesn't have to be a personal attack-just who's who in this operation. Maybe the next time they are in court the prosecutor/judge will be creative and add a lifetime ban away from anything skydiving to the judgement. These folks just have to go. 6. Thanks all for your input. I was looking for a possible one stop shop solution with a history of doing this if it was out there. A jewler told me they could do it as well. Cheers "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  7. I'm looking for a source of engraved closing pin necklaces. Giving it for a Christmas gift. Thanks "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  8. Been watching Venus and Jupiter for a couple of weeks now right at dark. Would make a cool night jump background. Every August 12th (or around there) the summer meteror shower happens-we always have a party celebrate-nothing like watching 60+ falling stars an hour. Mother nature always has the best show. 9. Fly with them often over the last 3yrs. KC to Orlando, Atlanta, Newport News. Don't be late-they close the plane on time. FM Radio is awesome and really makes the time pass. Cheap upgrades at the last minute at the gate if you like. Usually $35.00 which includes free beverages. Gates in Atlanta are often in different concourses-allow 45-60 minutes to get from one gate to another between flights. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  10. Contact Rob or Kim or Chromy or Yuki at Skydive University. http://www.skydiveu.com/ They teach it all. You might consider visiting a dropzone if there is one nearby and meeting with an instructor face to face. Where are you located? "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  11. Both my son and daughter jump. Son has his "A" and daughter has done 2 tandems and 30 minutes in the tunnel. I let them both hang out at boogies. I say do it-great time together. We are talking about traveling to some boogies next yr. The one thing i'll mention is that i had different emotions when my daughter jumped. My son did static line progression and i jumped with him in the same FJC. Worried my ass off when my daughter jumped tandem with a good friend-weird and hard to explain the feelings. But i'm very much into the girl power thing and love to see her and her friends conquer. She has group of girls she grew up with and they are adventure chicks big time-very cool. Good luck, enjoy, take pictures. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"

  13. Relax, smile, get video, photos, come back and tell us how it was, post pictures and link to video, tell all your friends. Repeat with some student progression. Be prepared for it to be life changing. Smile some more-show video to friends. You are about to step into the most awesome community there is. Did i say smile? Enjoy. 15. The relationship is over with. Terminate all contact. No discussion, no explanations, no excuses. He crossed a sacred line. No future reconcile. You are right to feel gurtted and violated. Hope you heal soon. Disgusts me when people we trust do this type of thing. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"

  20. Shaun, Jesse, Justin, Ben, Captain, Paul, Art, Bart, Hondo, Doug, Stump and too many others to list. Thanks for a great weekend. So nice to have weather on our side. The TMC-CNO was so impressed that i may have a ferry fee answer for you to bring Fastrax back in the spring. Kohl the stars were great. Shaun, i'll holler at you tonight and let you know how Teresa will tap into the purse strings for the ferry fee. Thanks to all-the MU folks are back bragging about their great time at KSUPC and our girls really enjoyed themselves. The vibe you all have continues to impress me-never lose that little jewel. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  21. We'll just have to love Pilot MCnasty into our community. Heart and minds-we will just win him over SF style. The weather is looking great-clear and low wind. Those camping will enjoy a star filled Kansas sky with little moon. When are the POPS and girls records gonna fall? The hog is being butchered and the bandanas printed as i type this-literally. Our Missouri group is talking staging areas for car pooling. Our college kids are begging instructors for an early release on Friday. The wagons will be heading west on Friday. Gonna be a great weekend. We are stoked on the East side. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  22. I'm cruising through all the stuff i don't normally look at=it helps-some good bits of information too. "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
  23. The NSL director Kurt Gaebel will be hosting an informational seminar about his league and the competitive potential for collegiate jumpers. Is there somewhere that this information will be posted-i know some KState and MU jumpers that might be interested in the information. kState has a boogie already planned that weekend. As i stood in the commons and watched the towers collapse. One thought came to mind knowing that there would be a great body count of FF's. HEART H-Heroes E-Earned A-America's R-Respect T-Today You see the day before i listened to a city council memeber and a city manager describe publically how our jobs were no were as difficult or as hazardous as it was for law enforcement. Since i was the Union President-i simply said that we Firfighters get paid to do what we are prepared to do as well as what we do. Our Station one commons is attached to city hall so everyone was in there watching. When the Asst City manager asks? do you think people were crushed-i said just the folks doing what they are prepared to do-funny how the politicians left the commons. 343 Peace "You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
