Dude, Don't quit. I have been chasing my "A" license since 1981-will get it in a couple of weeks. Call Rob Laidlaw at Skydive University in Deland Florida. Nothing but magic. He's a fellow Canadian as well. His ability to solve challenges is legendary. Just plain good people with the passion and talent to instruct and mentor through any problems. The Peggs Boogie is held annually by the Kstate parachute club. It's run by college students and will have a healthy mix of low number jumpers and some other students that are up to 30/45 sec pulls. There will be special loads with coaching that are designed just for students. A great place to have a healthy mix and get to jump as well. The vibe is awesome. You find that the clubs culture of putting students first is really a common thread in all we do. Up jumpers will also find an awesome environment for them as well. Hard to find a DZ with a better mix. I would encourage you to contact Shaun at [email protected] and to check out our boogie web site at www.kansasboogie.com or our club website at www.skydivekstate.com You will feel at home. This is one of the oldest clubs around and has a rich student tradition. Several students will be completing their "A" license at this Boogie. You have been to the Farm and SDC, don't forget to check these smaller DZ's to discover the hidden treasures they have. Kstate club holds a special place in a lot of folks heart. The irony is i'm totally not a boob guy, but an ass man. I was just trying to stir the juices. But it seems like the flint hill dwellers are not much into boobs either. Ripstick, Stilts and whatever other toys there are, are more likely to create injuries than the jumping. In fact the sky is likely to be the safest place. Seems like the pieces are coming together and looks like it's just countdown to fun. You all have done a good job-the porta sinks was a coop. Hey brother, Ordered the hog this morning. 200lbs live weight. They are gonna kill and chill on Wed. the 4th so i'll have Bill bring it out with him on Thursday. Les and i are coming out wed. afternoon. Hold off on the additional 48 cinder blocks, we'll need some more just not that many. Let me design the chicken cooker tonight and i'll let you know.
