You have some good points but i would disagree with you on the issue of cruise control. I just got a new car it it will give you average MPG or you can view the instant MPG. When I am using the cruise and viewing the instant MPG, once i start going down a hill you can see the MPG shoot up signifigantly. Obviously when you start going up a hill the MPG goes down. The other reason for using cruise in certain newer cars is because of the engine control something. I don't know the name of it but my car will switch from 6 cylinder to 3 cylinder during cruise speeds. If i am not using the cruise it keeps bouncing back and forth between a 6 and a 3. But when I am in cruise control it will be stay in 3 cylinder mode until you hit a large hill.

Maybe I should try again. The strange part about mine is when I use my Portable Hard-drive most of my video files are in AVI type of format and they play with no problem. But when I try to stream it it will not recognize the AVI format and says something along the lines of "its not compatible" I may be doing something wrong though

I have a X-box 360 and you can stream audio and video but it gets sorda laggy on the video. I went out a bought a Portable hard drive. Just put your movies or music on it and plug it into the PS3. A co-worker of mine has a PS3 and he also uses a Portable Hard drive. The only problem I have found is that it wont read a hardrive 500GB and larger

Thats the reason I refuse to buy any songs from I-Tunes. All though you may technically own them it is a pain in the ass to get them off your I-Pod and burn Cd's or edit videos with them. All I can say is "Torrents"

Sometimes it's better to wait until you can afford a few hundred more dollars to get a brand that you have actually heard of. Tv's are always going on sale so shop around and don''t bite on the first thing that catches your eye. Research research research.... Don't order a TV online or anything unless you have actually seen the picture quality in person. I agree with DSE about Samsung. I own a 42in Plasma that I purchased about a year ago. My roommate bought owns a Dell brand, a Sharp, and a sony. My samsung has a much clearer picture than any of his. i see Tv's very similar to mine made by Samsung in the stores for about $1000 to $1300 depending on store and model.

Thanks that seems to have fixed it. I thought there was a way to assign a drive a letter I just counld not remember. It was getting really annoying reloading Itunes every month.

I dont have any other external hard drives, and I don't use a flash drive.

I have been using my external hard drive to hold all my MP3's for my I-Tunes account. Problem is about once a month something fucks up and asks me to locate every song i try to play. I think the reason is because sometimes the external hard drive shows up as " F:/ ????" and sometimes it's "G:/????" when you look at it in the explorer. So my question is: Is there a way to make it permantly G:/ ??? I have tried deleting all the songs from I-Tunes and reloading them twice but it keeps happening, Plus it takes about 10 hours for I-Tunes to sort all that music. Thanks

You should be fine even if you don't have an "Official" lease. I rent a room from my friend and we have no contract / lease. I recently got renters insurance and it cover's all my gear. Funny part is when I finally added renters insurance to my car insurance policy it costs me almost nothing. $100 a year for rental insurance but I got a $85 dollar discount on my car insurance

Over in Japan some of the parking spots have a metal pipe that seperate each spot. It's probably about 4 inches in diameter and about 6 inches at it's tallest. Seems to work pretty well.

What is it that you are trying to measure? I work with a few different types of measuring equipment. CMM's, laser scanning equipment, Both contact and Non contact systems

I feel your pain. One of my old roommates was always playing his guitar and a few other instruments. Problem was you would be watching a movie out in the living room and he would come out and start playing his fucking guitar on the couch next to you. It would piss me off to no end. Other problem was he couldn't keep a beat. He would play the same couple of songs all the time It got even worse when he bought a snare drum and a stack for his guitar. Thank god I don't live with him anymore cause i might be in jail for murder

I have a G4 that I bought in august of 07. Nothing but good things to say about it. Extremely comfortable on ride to altitude and under canopy. Delivery time was very close to estimated time. I have heard bad things about the split D-Bag, my gear shop suggested the G3 style D-bag. Some like it some don't i guess. I don't have a lot to compare it to since all i jumped before this was student gear, but my next purchase will be another mirage.

I bought a bag for mine and it wouldn't fit in the overhead. So the last 3 trips I just sling it over my shoulder. Like you said I wouldn't trust an airline employee handling it as checked in baggage.
