1. 45 minutes! :) 2. it still scares me sometimes... but I find it less so as the jumps keep coming. 3. rock, pop... un dunno, whatever keeps me awake to and from work. 4. no 5. engaged to be married in 4 weeks and 5 days. 6. I had an intentional cutaway with the new skyhook system at about 200 jumps. 10. ummm... seriously have no idea... whatever my fiance has... If it has internet and microsoft word excel... I am happy. 11. both?!

Yeah but skydiving isn't a sport. All you do is fall straight down with someone stapped to your back.

I am going to have to say I had about 90 jumps. I pieced it together during the winter. I think for everything it was about $2000 with mods and a 2.5 yr cypres on it. It took a lot of work, but I got it just in time for the season.

And we should all know that the aad may have never deployed his parachute... others have died with aad fire and no or very very low deployment of the reserve. I know I would never rely on someone else's aad firing.

I deal with some coworkers from another country. For whatever reason they don't believe in brushing their teeth. They smoke and drink coffee all day long. You can smell them when they walk in and all you can do is prevent yourself from gagging. They are of belief that their country is superior to ours so I don't think they would take any suggestions... just like my job. I maybe be bitter...

I am surprised that my fiance hasn't responded to this. He doesn't drink either. When he he had to buy beer, he bought some root beer. He loves that stuff, and aparently so did the dzo. I don't drink much either. When I buy beer for everyone, I don't drink it.

My mom still hates that I jump. I don't talk about it to her, but she has to realize that I do often. When I made my first jump she was supportive, but after the 2nd she wasn't. She tried to turn the family against me and I stopped talking to her for a little over 6 months. Now she finally realizes that I have been independent from her since I was 17 and there is nothing she can say or do to prevent me from doing what I like to do. We get along pretty fine now and she seems okay that I am going to marry a fellow skydiver.

What bugs me the most is I believe the only thing that could have triggered this computer is the fact that I lived and paid for the city taxes for 2008. A red flag goes up saying that I didn't pay in 2007... Alas... BECAUSE I DIDN'T LIVE THERE in 2007!!!

Problem is that I don't exactly keep every bill I ever had. In AZ i didn't have cable or a land line... All I had was electricity, and luckily I was able to dig through the boxes and find a bill... Now I just need to find proof of my other residence that year in Ohio... I will give them the information, I am just a bit ticked off that I have to do it. It seems that with no proof they can accuse me of this and I have to take time out of my day to prove to them that I am not trying to avoid paying their stupid school taxes.

I think its more likely that they saw that I lived there in 2008 and are hoping that I lived there in 2007... when I lived about 2000 miles away.

Beware I am a bit ticked off! So I just got a letter from the state of Ohio claiming that I did not pay a particular school district tax in 2007. Well they are right... I didn't. You know why? BECAUSE I DIDN'T LIVE/WORK THERE THEN!!!!!! So although they have no proof that I lived in this city, Ohio, I have to prove where I lived and what school taxes I paid... So I have to prove that I lived in two locations that year... In a city in ohio that is about 1.25 hrs away from said city, and a city in Arizona. Now although I am a very busy woman, working essentially two jobs while planning for a wedding that is beyond stressful, I must prove to them that I didn't live there. I don't understand how they can think that I did. I lived in said city the next year and paid for those d*** school taxes that year, so they "knew" that I lived there for the year before! WHY can't they just leave me alone? I pay all my bills and taxes. Why are you trying to squeeze more money I don't have and they don't deserve! Okay rant over...

I swear I am going to get fired if I don't stop playing these games! I'm addicted!

When your first friend dies skydiving.

1:16:0 I made one jump on Friday. I did a 4-way... which as it turns out, I suck at. I had a brake fire as my toggle keeper broke. On Saturday I did 6, 4way video jumps for an all girl 4-way team for the MESL meet. Then I did a no contact CRW jump with Scott for his 800th jump. On sunday I did another 6, 4-way video jumps for the 4-way team training. On Monday I made an 8-way and a 6-way. It was fun to play inside again.

Unfortunately he is as tired as me.

0:5:0 OSU weekend #1 I showed up on Saturday at 6:30am and volunteered my time until they called it bc of weather at about 2:30. Sunday I was there by 5:45 am. I volunteered my time until 10ish. Then I did 5, 4-way video for a 4-way team that was training and didn't have their videographer bc he was too busy making money at the dz. I left at 7:30pm... I was there for 13.5 hrs. Honestly I am burned out and unlike every one of the AFF, Tandem and videographers there, I made no money for being there all weekend. Now I am burned out and can barely function at work. Clothes lay dirty and dishes uncleaned at home. I just need someone to pick me up, and its only Monday. Work is piling and I just want to cry... not that anyone will read this or care, which is fine with me, bc I am just wollowing in my self pity. Sleep sounds so good.

What's the statistics of the ladies? How many have 10k+? Whats the most jumps made by a girl?

Lost... I forgot a pair of pink panties at a motel. My boyfriend (at the time) and I were there his sister's wedding. Found... by his other younger sister, under the bed.

Yes. Do you buy a car without test driving it? Just bc you heard its fun and want to prove to your friends that you have balls, doesn't make it right to spend that much money... Do one jump... still like it... buy it in packages... You're lucky to have enough money to blow it on a hunch that you will like skydiving. The reason why the "experienced skydivers" gave you a look is that your attitude is nothing new...

0:6:0 Made 6 jumps... one 4-way video on Saturday at 8:30am until the winds picked up after that load. 5 more on Sunday starting at 6:30am... I got 5, 4-way video jumps in.... For our 6th one of the day, (which was going to be my jump# 400), we geared up and walked to the loading area and noticed that it was a bit too gusty... That ended my weekend and now I have 399 jumps... and in limbo... I rather be safe than sorry though...

I hit mine yesterday as well... still putting in at least 8 more hours today. Must be nice to work only 40 hrs... I get paid for 40 hrs... anything on top of that, I work for free.

I let my man borrow my rig... If possible I try to avoid it if I packed the last pack job. I like my openings very quick, but he doesn't seem to appreciate the back breaking openings so much.

0:6:3 Helped out with 2 skydivers getting their tandem rating, so I did 4 tandems and pulled for the first time... it was harder than I thought. Lost my contact for the first time in free fall on the third tandem jump, and held my goggles as it was my last left contact... I was able to revive it and place it back into my eye and continue jumping. Made 2 more jumps video for a 4 way, did pretty well. Also heard about a death of a friend... first death in this sport... I owe a lot of beer. Blue skies Harry. I miss your bear hugs.
