I have been a step mom for 10 years now, it is quite possibly the hardest thing I have ever done. My son, was 18 months when I met his dad, I tried from the very begining to bond with him, it has never happened. I love him very much and care for him deeply, I want to see him grow up and be successful, but we have a very distant relationship because he hates me. No, he hasnt told me to my face, but I have overheard him tell his younger brothers and sisters that. And also in his over all "mannerisms" its very apparent. I am very strict, but not just with him, I am with all the kids, they all have chores and do others things around the house as needed. All of my kids do have alot on their shoulders b/c I am the only parent there full time, there dad works 3 hours away at a DZ and isnt home very much, so its upto me to be the fulltime parent to 4 kids. Im sure my story has nothing to do with yours, but I just wanted to chime in as a step-mom. I think I am pretty good, but whenever my son gets his feathers fluffed he runs to dad who has told me for the past 10 years that I don't love him like I do the kids we had together, well he's right, I can't love him like I do the kids I carried for 9 months, but it doesnt mean I love him any less. I would take a bullet for him just as I would my biological kids. I work fulltime and scarafice ALOT so that they can have more... hopefully one day they will all appreciate it, becuase right now they don't....

just this one right now.. but in the past I have been very active on the "due in ...(month) boards for my pregnancies... made some wonderful lasting friendships on those....

Congrats on the weight loss... Im playing that game too right now... havent weighed myself since I started, but my goal is to loose 30 lbs. I bought a pilates dvd and have been running... I am starting too see a slight difference.. I can't wait to have my body back!

Im currently in this situation and I HATE IT!!!!! My hubby is a skydiving instructor and the DZ he works at is 3 hours from home, he is home usually 2 days a week ( this week has been an exception, he's been here all week...and I'm loving it!!!) granted Im not as far away as some couple I guess, but we have four kids together and I work full time so it puts a lot on my plate... alot of the time I don't mind, and I would totally move to be closer to where he works, but I have a great job that I'm not willing to give up. Sure there are DZ's closer to us than this one, but not with the perks he gets at this one... I do miss him incredibly, we have been married for 10 years and I would love to have him home more, especially since the kids are getting older and we are able to do more fun stuff together and as a family...

I agree 100%... Sundance wasnt the best.. but he was damn sure better than girly boy... heck even my hubby asked me last night if he was a girl or a guy....

I don't need to defend God or the Bible or anything the non-believers in the world choose to debate, He will do that himself... and one day the answer will be crystal clear to everyone. I propose this: Wouldn't you rather go thru life believing in GOD only to find out in the end that it wasnt ture or would you rather go thru life not believeing in God only to find out He is real and very much alive and for you its just too late? Me, I choose to believe, God has already done so many awesome awesome things in my life. Go ahead flame away, I wont be responding becuase this is my choice. Not true. While a particular DZ may have an operating procedure or policy to the activity you speak of with such conviction, there is no law that prevents one from consuming a beer and jumping from a plane. The FAR’s make clear reference to jumping while “under the influence”, however the FAA does not define “under the influence” for skydivers. Doesn't this fall under Pilot in Command? J Thats what I thought too, 8 hours from drinking to flying....

I couldnt Agree more... Nick should of stayed and Sanjaya needs to go away... and for the girls, Antonella needs to really really go away and one of the other girls Leslie or Allaina should have stayed, they are both better than Antonella... just my 2 cents.....

I watched it last night, loved it... great concept... my 5th grader is NO where near as smart as those kids... yet they pass him every year... The Florida school system has serious issues. I just purchased an older vector II rig with a raider 175 main. I don't know anything about this canopy other than that it is a 9 cell f-111 canopy. Would those of you who have expierence with this canopy. please post your expierences. I've been skydiving since 2003 but have low jump numbers due to kids and family etc... I am approx 155 out the door... if I did my math right, it would be a .88 wing loading... thanks for any advice!

We had a PISA 170, no matter how it was packed, it would leave you seeing stars on the openings. Had a master rigger completely look it over, he couldnt find anything. We sold it, letting the buyer know how it was, we never heard anything else about it. I was 5' tall before jumping it, Im now 5'2...lol joke....

Donate everything that can be donated and cremate the rest... spread part on an ash dive, part in the ocean....

Yep I agree with Sunshine... pure jealousy... This is why I don't befriend many women, even when you think they are the best of friends, all they need is half a reason to turn on you... I even had a women scratch "bitch" in the trunk of my car several years ago, because SHE tought my hubby was handsome and becuase he has an outgoing nature (flirty) but after she found out he was married, it was all my fault....

It was pretty on except for the dog cat coffee sea thing.... other than that it was dead on....
