yes, the connectivity. it drops several times per hour. can be for a minute or 30 minutes. can be for an hour or more. then it can be good for a day. it is unreliable and sucky. dont let life pass you by

ok,, 8.8.8.8 was time=22ms ttl:56 208.67.222.222 time=10ms ttl=56 and would jump to 80 every 20 lines 128.107.241.185 time=20ms ttl 118 jump to 50ish every 20 lines 64.102.255.44 time = 176 and timed out alot dont let life pass you by

i have a dual modem/router on a DSL line. my connection is dropping constanly. both ISP and dsl compies have run tests and say it is the others problem. i have done some ping tests. one is on 4.2.2.2 and it runs at bytes=32, time=42ms ttl=75 one is on 192.168.0.1 and it runs at bytes=32 time=1ms ttl=64 the 4.2.2.2 is the one showing the request timed out. the ISP has come and tested the line any help would be appreciated. i dont have another dsl unit to try. im sick of being on hold for hours. thanks dont let life pass you by

if u want to stick to the hype eye with this set up, i might resort to putting a little metal deflector under your stroboframe that sticks out just a little past the hype eye to deflect a riser away from the connector. its is a 5 dollar solution rather than changing to the cx. dont let life pass you by

I happened to be with the 2nd tandem so i couldnt get the shot with the rocket lower. and the tandem student, an actor for a tv thing, jack knifed on exit and made the delay even worse . also, there were multiple launch pads, so we didnt know which one until we saw lift off.. grrrrrrrr dont let life pass you by

I recently attended a training session that put us through hypoxia while doing mental tests. I think most airline personnel have to attend this type of training, so check major airports if you really want to find a chamber or machine to test it. thank for the original post, good stuff to know and be aware of !! dont let life pass you by

I would even go further and say before you decide to jump a suit like this be mentally prepared to ball up in SECONDS after losing control of a suit of this size. TRY lick your balls. what ever it takes for you to realize that death (mid air blackout and praying for a cypress save) is imminent if you try to arch for 10-20 seconds and fight a spin like this. Before you post in that forum, search, search, search, read more, search, then maybe ask.... adding a stills camera is way more than adding video in every aspect. take it seriously ! rebel xt, xti, xs, xsi all are great. canon's compatibility to the remote switches and durability make it optimum for skydiving. good luck dont let life pass you by

i did mine about 4 months ago. It took me 2 months and 50 hours to complete. I was going about 4 times per week. It cost me about 9k in socal which i suspect is the most expensive in the US. I would definately do a computer based course and do as much computer work before u start training. I would get the Oral exam guide when you start. Start studying that as you train so you can be ready when you get near 40 hours so you dont waste money. i didnt do that and i wish i did and i will for my instrument rating. having said that i love having the license and i fly alot for fun. do it !! dont let life pass you by

one thing to keep in mind is the remote for the still camera. u dont want that port hanging over the side where a riser strike would rip it off even if you use a 90 degree connector. i found it a little tough to mount the hc5 and 350 on a ftp and the sweet spot where the video wouldnt block the still was tiny with out messing up the connection locations.. pay attention to this closely before you start drilling. But like JP, i prefer both to be mounted up top. dont let life pass you by
