i again would go for the newest in year along with the lowest in mileage efficient vehicle you can get for your $$. you want to make it a year without big expenses. do a search for 4500 to 6000ish and find the best deal. if you email me 5 or so of ones you think are good, i will try to help ya find the best ones. dont let life pass you by

i think getting locked into a make or model is not the best way to do it. I would do searches on craigslist or autotrader by your price range. get the best deal you can. meaning the lowest mileage, best condition vehicle you can get for the dollars. locking yourself into a brand or model is not the best option in my opinion. i buy most of my cars/motorcycles this way.. i will do a quick search for you in the dallas area and give you my opinions. http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/cto/2533555763.html here is the kind of thing you are looking for. under 100k miles.. no salvage title.(stay away from salvage title for resale purposes) also check kelly blue book for value.. i would google online for buying a used car private sale and get a checklist of stuff to look for. might be worth your time when u get close to buying, to find a local garage to check the car over for 50 or 100 bucks. will save you big money in the long run if you dont know much about cars. if you need more help, pm. glad to help. dont let life pass you by

i will let someone with tech specs weigh in on this. But the color quality of a go pro v. cx-100 with HD lens is not even close. customers are paying 100 dollars for your video. go pro just does not have the overall quality for commercial outside video in my opinion. do i think skydiving video guys are under paid compared to regular video people. sure do. is the go pro good for video with your buddies. sure is. a cx-100 new with an hd lens will be 4-500. not 1000. go pro hd is 300 i believe. paying customers deserve better quality in my opinion. this is a similar argument to using a video camera to take still pictures for commercial tandems. the quality is just not there yet. is the one camera solution cheaper, safer, lighter for the underpaid camera guy. sure is.. but just not appropriate yet. why would u put a SD lens on a cx series camera anyway ? just one opinion. dont let life pass you by

i bought a cx-100 for 200 used with a hd wide angle about a month ago. go pro is just not good enough for outside video in my opinion. pc-1000 is fine as long as it works and yur dz can handle tapes. dont let life pass you by

i just went thru a year ago and working on my instrument now. screw the books and get an online course from king schools.(i have used sportys as well but didnt like it as much) way easier and will help with the testing. the only book i recommend is the oral exam guide (hayes) for the oral part of the practical. start studying the oral exam guide halfway thru training at about 20 hours so u are ready at 40 hours. good luck. i did my ppl in 2 months part time. dont let life pass you by
