Your motorcycle doesnt have lines and bridles. because death is the consequence of the mistake, something u cant get back. just happened to a newish base jumper who turned it on and forgot about it. Then the bridle wrapped around the GO PRO and they died. Think u can cutaway cause your a skydiver ? fire your reserve into main dangling from your head. Horseshoe perhaps. Your main cutting off circulation to your head in seconds from a wrap or pulling your neckstrap. U are going in fast and maybe 20 seconds to impact. Think you have the skills or luck to deal with that. Maybe worth rethinking getting that jump on crappy video or any video for that matter. not just directed at you kawa,, but all the GO PRO and video peeps out there. dont let life pass you by

i would get the canon series with the stock lens for the first couple of hundred jumps. You will bump your head on the door, have student knock it around in the plane, and drop it several times until you get your routine down. do that with a stock lens and you wont mind as much.. smash that 10-22 on the door frame, and you are going to be pissed, crying, and spending $$$. Also, when your blow switch craps out, you can ask your buddies who all have canon for one. stay with the tried and true skydiving camera. i have had around 10 pics in magazines from the rebel xt and stock 18-55 lens when i started. dont let life pass you by

i would recommend the phoenix phantom 2z or 2 ( they have a recent zipper model which is way better than the cables). it is medium size with big time flight characteristics , ease of pull with boc, and good arm escape. a really nice base suit. i have flown s-fly expert, profly, and V2 also. my 2 cents. welcome back :) see u in norway dont let life pass you by

I have the sigma 15mm and wish I had the canon 15mm as i think it is a bit sharper. it depends on how anal you are about the perfection of the pictures and if you think the extra cost is worth it. dont let life pass you by

i dont think the poster has any trouble trying to make this guy look bad, he did it all by himself. Other than a cactus and barbed wire factory, im sure u could find a better LZ. Spectators everywhere just left of the dirt ramp on his approach. Looks like large mounds right of the ramp he hit as well as a sunken in circle track area with a high speed approach. I dont see any outs or even the good part of the LZ for that matter. Wonder why there is so much red tape for a demo ?? way to get it on video !!!! dont let life pass you by

DSE mentions bonehead and if you dont need a helmet tomorrow (which u dont :), buy some bone bonds. if you buy 100 in bone bonds, you get 200 in value in 6 months. Optic Illusion is a great helmet and i used it for about 800 jumps before switching to the FTP. dont let life pass you by

yes, it is true. I would carry it around in the briefcase and i used it. Try to put it on away from family if it is a natural death. It does help although the dead stays in your nose a couple of days. dont let life pass you by

Everyone is talking about canopy choice and skydiving. It seems to me keeping the wife happy might be a better idea. If it means using a slightly bigger canopy for some jumps, it is worth it for better home life IMHO. It seems, if it really wasnt a big deal to her, you wouldnt bring it up here. Make the little woman happy, it will probably pay off in the long run. The smaller canopies will always be there, the wife maybe not. Also consider what happens if you land off or do a night jump. You will wish you had that extra square footage overhead head. dont let life pass you by
