If you really are broke try to find a dropzone that offers static line training rather than AFF. I started skydiving right before my junior year of college, and by the time I graduated had 150 jumps. There's no way I would have been able to afford to get my license and do those fun jumps if I hadn't done static line. Now I'm out of college and making grown up money, but I have no time jump! Where is that perfect balance between time and money at?

Anyone live in Nasvhille? If so, where do you jump? I just moved here and my jumping career is suffering because of it. It seems like there are no DZ's less than 2 hours away.. I really can't afford to make a 2 hour drive multiple times a weekend, so if I went out I would need to stay/ camp out at the DZ. So if you live in the Nashville area, where do you go jump? Do people camp out/crash at the DZ? And finally, what kind of plane are you jumpin? Appreciate any help...

Yeah, I went ahead and got it all assembled, and it fits great. You guys were definitely right about the fit being affected by having the canopies put in. Its all ready to go, and I'm hoping to get it in the air today or this weekend.

Hey Igor, whats going on man?? -- very good ideas there. I went ahead and called UPT and gave them my stats, they said that this rig should fit me damn near perfectly. I also described to them how/where it felt 'loose' and what I could do with my shoulder if I really tried to, and they said you can do that in a rig that fits properly. I guess my concern stems from never having been in a rig that fits properly, as my old Dolphin was atleast 1 size too small for me, so I think I got used to that extremely tight feeling. Now its time to get her assembled and jump. I'm excited.
