I continue to have that problem....flare way to high. Most of the time I just laugh now...at least as long as I am not breaking anything. I seem to land every once in a while....most of the jumpers laugh at me because I start jumping up and down. We are about in the same position. I just have a couple of things to check off and think I may be able to pull off getting the A license in the next week or two......good luck on finishing your A. Crashed and burned both jumps this weekend. Temps were about 105 with no wind, pretty unusual for us ...... hopefully the next time I jump it will improve. Landing is definitely an artform whether you are crashing in or if you have that beautiful flare at the right moment. Right now, I seem to have taken up the crashing in part....but, it has been in the 100s without wind so I am hoping that as it cools off and the experience will help improve my landings....we will see.

Sorry to hear that your out for the next six weeks but at least its not longer....(i know that doesn't help). Sounds like you did everything that you were suppose to do which as a new jumper is often what I worry about. Oh and congrats on the A!!!! Working in the ER almost always gives me nightmares......mostly about the patients who frequently come for their lortab prescription on a daily basis. Rest. Ice. Compression. Elevate. Doesn't sound good.......especially with it being so close to prairie. Rest up....I want to see you and donate to the cause. If you aren't able to walk on it you should have it x-rayed. Soft tissue injuries take while to heal so be kind to your self. I only tattoo in places that won't change all that much....at least most of the time.
