Skydiving does not make you irresponsible, it makes YOU an very adventurous 57 yr old woman who wants to enjoy life and live it to the fullest. My guess is that you've already raised your kids and have gotten that responsibilty out of the way. So why not do what you want?

Some of us still do enjoy that canopy ride and some of us still do not feel the need to fly a canopy the size of posage stamp. Fast and zippy is good for some but not for all. I will stay with my current 1:1 wing loading for the duration of my skydiving career I'm guessing.

(My buds were checking targets while the kids were still shooting) Holy shit. At our range there is a red flag at every stand. When you go down range you put that flag up an yell going down range. You don't just go waltzing on down, but you wait till it's clear then go. Nobody shoots when the flag is up and a body is down range checking targets. Jesus, thats just common sense. Yes. But if you can, buy a Russian made. Much better built than the Chinese. As for accuracy, I've rung the 300 yrd. gong with open sights on occasion, but a whole lot more accurate at 100. As for expense of ammo I stocked up yrs ago and haven't run out. Though I've been told that the ammo is alot more expensive these days because of the war. When my contract is up with Verizon I will be going with somebody else. They do have the best coverage here in Montana but I'm fed up with their BS. The topper for me was a few weeks ago I had a problem with my phone and I went in to have it checked. I stood in line till it was my turn only to be told to go back to the entrance and punch all my info into a computer and then come back up and stand in line again. Very impersonal. I'm tired of being treated like a number instead of a customer. When I do go with somebody else I will get great pleasure in canceling with them and telling them exactly why.
