  1. Redheads are truly godesses amongst women. Strange things happen to me when they are around. I get weak in the knees, start drooling, and can't take my eyes off of them. Why do many women think that men want blondes and then go dye their hair blonde like anyone would believe it's natural? Some men might want a blonde, but most of them would throw that blonde right out the window for the opportunity for a red. Red are really all I'll even bother dating. Why settle for less? Why shoot for a silver or bronze medal? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  2. There was an earlier post about the film released yesterday, dude, click on the link again: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=7d9_1206624103&p=1 The film was removed as a result of death threats that scared the shit out of the posting sites. Seriously, check out their removal message! 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  3. I don't even have cable. TV is only good for watching movies. The radio just plain annoys me. I prefer to set my internet homepage to Google news. Every time I open a browser, headlines ranging from world, local, health, science, elections, and more show up from dozens of sources. This generally keeps the big media companie headlines channels from bothering me with the latest on Britney. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  4. The original list must be backwards. How 'bout this, the "freest" country is Zimbabwe. Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose... right? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  5. Oh we do have a liberal media... but they are a business primarily. Do they see higher immediate ratings (=more $$$) trying to turn tables on an old white guy who's smooth sailing for the moment or continue to escalate and dramatize the "war" between a black dude and a white chick for taking over power. The media has turned against the dems plenty of times before, because there was money to be made at hand 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  7. Funny, I remember the media doing the same thing last time. It's what they do. Keeps you glued to the story. ratings go up, more advertisers want to pay the guys with higher ratings, media companies get more money. I also remember the "no good candidate" thing last time too. Kerry was a douche and Bush lost all of his popularity. It seemed that many who voted justified their vote as the lesser of the two evils, nomatter which way they voted. I don't think very much is new this time. Politicians suck and are sleazy. But you lose the right to bitch about it if you don't vote -Simon 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  8. Again, the article and Economist magazine (as far as I could find) shows nowmethodforwhich they came up with their data. I would however love to go back to Dublin, had a wonderful time there. (Shout out to all my homies at the IPC ) Great craic. The article is very right in talking about some of the recent economic boom out there(Celtic Tiger). It reall shows out there how far the country has come given the centuries of slump. Damn Unionists. -Simon 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  9. Probably mostly right, except maybe the "atheists know they only have one life to live" part. I've met many a jumper (skydiving or BASE) that must believe in reincarnation even if they are atheistic. There must be only one reason to do half of the dumb shit I've seen us do... We MUST get a chance to come back from the dead and do it again!!! 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  10. That list is not the top 10 best countries. That list you quote was pulled out of someones ass. The real (HDI) list could probably fend for themselves most of the time without our help at all, except maybe France... you know, based off history over the last 100 years 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  11. The article cites the Atheist population in the US as 14%. I'm just taking it as true because I don't feel like bothering to look into it. It gave me an interesting thought though. It would seem to me that skydiving has a very high percentage of atheists, much higher I'd estimate than 14%. i wonder why it is that (I am assuming) skydiving tends to be largely atheits. Any insights? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  12. Obama also wants to cut funding to NASA ... but McCain pledges fund NASA and get a god damned dude on Mars already
  13. It seems to me like this "report" is a lot of fluff with very little real substance or backing evidence. How exactly did they come up with these rankings? All they say in the article is that they: "...took into account each nation’s political structures, social and economic trends, military and security risks and external relations..." Well WTF does that mean? The whole thing seems sketchy to me. I'd like to know more about this Jane's Information Group and IHS who apparently bought them recently. What kind of private interests do they have in releasing a report like this? If you want a pretty clear breakdown of countries ranked from best to worst, I think a better source would be the human development index released annually by the UN: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_development_index They list the top 10 countries in the world as: 1. Iceland 2. Norway 3. Australia 4. Canada 5. Ireland 6. Sweden 7. Switzerland 8. Japan 9.Netherlands 10. France The USA is listed as number 12 and the UK as 16. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_Human_Development_Index -Simon 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  14. Hey everyone! I finally put together the 2006 highlights of my 2006 jump year (late I know but I'm catching up) and 2007 is in the works

  16. This is a big pain in the butt, but sure I'll give you a little. My computer is very old and slow so trying to upload most anything takes forever. I'm not even going to bother with video. Here are a couple of screenshots from the current tape in my camera. Bigger way formations are in my 2007 tapes which are currently being edited professionally to release a "Mr. Bones 2007" video hopefully by the end of April. Keep your eyes peeled
  17. Marco, glad to have your input. I think your response however sounds very over defensive. Like I've said above, atmonauti is very fun and I've had some great times with it. I can understand that you would like to spread the word of how much fun atmonauti can be and how unexplored the discipline still is especially since much of the world has yet to seriously pick it up. You can't treat every critical post as "trashing atmonauti" though. When Mciocca or Vins post the diagram of a skydiver with some wind lines around him, it is not scientific evidence of physics and aerodynamics. If posting a picture of a skydiver doing atmonauti with a floating rig counts as scientific evidence, then many newspaper tabloids would have won Nobel prizes. I have no problem with the idea that a skydiver moving parallel to the ground in freefall can create a small amount of lift, I never have, but I think that the phenomena is difficult to prove. A drawing or picture simply is not science. The idea of lift created is only a theory, not a law of physics. Although there have been some who have stepped over the lines from criticism and debate to bashing and personal attacks, remember that it takes two to tango. Threads have been locked from your other advocates doing the same thing. You have called atmonauti part of an evolution. If you believe this, then you must also believe that the evolution is not complete, the sport is still evolving. It does not help to be dismissive to any criticisms. Maybe you can use some well thought out points brought up in debate here to further improve your case whether that be in revising definitions or reevaluating the ammunition of your arguments. That is how science works. When one scientist thinks he's figured something out, another scientific peer can review it and say, "well hey... what about this? This wouldn't work in X situation, etc" This useful observation allows the original scientist to revise his work to further perfect and finalize his theory. I'd recommend ignoring the ignorant "eurotrash" comments and maybe listen a little more to what your critics are pointing out instead of just dismissing them. Then we can all get on the plane and have fun
  18. This whole argument of whether or not atmonauti does or does not create lift or if tracking does or does not create lift I think is irrelevent as to whether or not atmonauti deserves its own discipline section. Don't get me wrong, I like atmonauti. It's fun. It's a shame that it is less popular here in the states. I have had fun on atmonauti dives from Spain to Brazil in my travels. But when I get out of the plane to do some freeflying, atmonauti angles can just as easily be incorporated into the dive as sitflying, headowning, and tracking. I can say to someone, let's go do some atmonauti, then get out of the plane and do strictly that. I can also say let's get out and do some sitflying, then do exactly that. That does not mean that sitflying should have its own section in the forums as its own discipline. The yes lift no lift arfument probably belongs best in the freeflying forum or the general skydiving discussions. I followed it for a while in freeflying, but that snide remarks and personal attacks were not only annoying, but discrediting for your arguments. -Simon 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  19. And each time a dem president goes on a "let's create a surplus" spree, military families are below the "poverty" line and are receiving food stamps. I'm not saying they should have million dollar incomes, but food stamps level is just plain wrong to be putting your military members through. But I guess we go right back to the whole democrats this and republicans that dynamic. Not really the point of the thread. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  20. The current national debt is still 75% debt held by the public, leaving 25% owed to foreign countries. Of that 25%, 47% is owned by China and Japan combined. I don't think owing China is going to be a major issue that dooms the country. Angry political activists have been shouting for many many decades that this country is "all fucked up" and so on. Seems like doomsday never actually comes and Americans still have some of the best standard of living in the whole world. Even our "poor" have microwaves, cars, and televisions. Hell I just got back from Brazil... NOBODY in this country is poor. Walk through the favelas of Rio one day. It seems like this conversation has turned pretty quickly away from the original tax brackets and turned to the usual democrats this and republicans that. It seems that a lot of people here start getting very cranky over the notion that we are just giving tax breaks to rich people (because your government is simply out to screw you right?) How much of the upper tax brackets that are getting these tax breaks are in the upper tax bracket not because they are simply rich, but because they are small business owners? I think the idea is not to give more money to Paris Hilton to run around and party on, but to encourage growth of successful small businesses. Isn't business opportunity and capitalism what this country is supposed to be about? It's not supposed to be a socialist "let's feed all the people who don't want to work hard and spend all their rent money at the bar". Sadly enough, that's where most of the voters are. It's easy to buy votes by giving low income people tax breaks and free money. Then we have a big deficit and a bunch of unjust taxing on people who do things like join the military to go to school (or work themselves through it), set up a private business and work your ass off to make it successful, or spend years being the best employee somewhere to work themselves up to a higher level supervisory position. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  22. Well we can't lose Montana as a state simply because 50 is too well rounded of a number. 49 would just sound incomplete. On the other hand, maybe it's time we let Puerto Rico join the club. I think we can all agree we all like Puerto Rico more than Montana. But then again, Puerto Ricans love handguns... They'll probably want a right to have any person bear arms. It's all so complicated! 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  23. I think people can argue the same thing about at least a few politicians from every political party in every country around the world. It's the nature of the business. Not just a Republican thing. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  24. I don't see how the number of angry white men out there will sway the 2008 election at all. The population number must be too small to even remotely make a difference. Think about it Leroy, there are estimated about 5,000 BASE jumpers in the world, only a quarter of which are estimated to be regularly active. Assuming that 20% are female, that puts the number of angry white men out there to be around 1000 people. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
