  1. I imagine when you start finding money misplaced without explanation you have to find out in which direction it is getting misplaced without letting on that you're aware. The once you find out HOW it's getting misplaced, find out WHO is misplacing it and WHEN without letting on that you know anything. Then you have to catch the person misplacing it in a way that there is enough evidence to press charges on them. I'm sure the money wasn't a whole lot at first. I'm sure that it started small and unnoticeable. The more she got away with it, the more greedy she became and eventually allowed people to set her up to be caught. If Zhills was able to get the Police Department to arrest her under that charge, catching her with evidence was probably an ongoing operation. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  3. I remember her, she had all the tattoos. She always was a bit shifty eyed. What sucks is that the DZ will probably never get that money back. I'm sure it was mostly cash and she spent it. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  5. It will be at Summerfest in Chicago from July 30th to August 2nd. Warm ups will be on the 29th. http://www.skydivechicago.com/Summerfest2009/tabid/184/Default.aspx If you guys want to see the planned formation and list, I've attached it below

  7. Is that picture still floating around somewhere on here? The amazing part was how fast there was a t-shirt printed up the next day. I would have bought one. That one certainly went down in the history books. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  8. I make funny faces and hand gestures. If I find myself tense and flying sloppy to a formation, I try and find the first person to make eye contact with me and make the goofiest face I can. If I can be so silly and make them laugh, then I laugh too, and I'm not so tense anymore. Or I just flip them the finger. Then I land after laughing my ass off for most of the jump and realize that whether or not the formation built, I still laughed my ass off and had fun. Your biggest obstacle in freeflying will be not being relaxed. If you can find a way to make a serious jump silly to you, you'll do great! 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  10. Uh oh, Time to initiate emergency procedures There are plenty of girls in the Southern half of the US... Girls who like warm weather (and dress appropriately) and enjoy lots of year round skydiving. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  11. Why are you only looking up North? Why not move a little further South where the skydiving season goes all year round! Why not Texas? Home to cities like: Houston (4th biggest city in the USA) Dallas (8th biggest city in the USA) Austin (the weird city) San Antonio (7th biggest city in the USA) Or maybe somewhere in Arizona? Phoenix is the 5th biggest city in the USA. Wouldn't you want to live near Eloy and the tunnel? Surely there are plenty of employment opportunities down in the southern half of the US, AND you get to skydive in warm weather all year round!!! The cost of living in these states is MUCH lower than most states up North. In Texas there is NO state income tax. That's right, you keep MORE of your money! And have a lower cost of living! Texas also has more dropzones than any other state. Skydive Spaceland in Houston is home to the 2009 USPA Nationals. All the action is down in the Southern half of the US (except for the week and a half Summerfest period up in Chicago). 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  12. So... little update here (I forgot about this thread), I figured I should test my knock sensor to see if there is anything wrong with it. Disconnected it from the ECM and did some resistance readings. Well over a MegaOhm in resistance to ground. On the ECM side, over 450K Ohms to ground. Definitely not grounded. Checked the voltage input from the ECM. About 4.8 volts, no problem there. Everything I checked about the sensor was looking good. Considering that all the other repairs would be much more costly, I went out and bought a new one for $80 and took out the old knock sensor. Resistance measurements from terminal to sensor area were exactly the same from the old one to the new one. Everything measurement I could think of between the new and old sensors were the same. I put in the new one anyway and left my negative battery terminal unplugged for a while. The next morning I went out and drove over 40 miles on and off highways and the check engine light did not come back on. So I guess that fixed it. I'm still confused though how every measurement between the two came out the same, they looked the same, no visible damage on the old one, yet the old one was tripping two error codes and the new one worked great. Oh well, I guess I'm just not smart enough! 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  13. I'll second that and vouch for Brad and Mel. Both talented flyers and good friends. Mel used to be a tunnel instructor down in Orlando I believe. This is a video (below) with some of their flying at a boogies we were at last year. Brad is in black (wearing a camera helmet and white/black rig) and Mel is in all white. They are on the VFS 4 way with me in some of the clips as well as the state record and some other clips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FFCUMTsOCo&feature=channel_page -Simon 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  17. So then the two codes should definitely be related symptoms of one problem right? I know that cat converter codes can trip on a mixture problem too. Any ideas for a good first place to look? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  18. Hey out there! For anyone experienced in Subaru vehicles may I pick your brain? I recently got the Check Engine light in my 2001 Subaru Outback. I read the code and got two of them: P0328 - Knock sensor circuit high input P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold I'm not familiar with a Knock circuit but know it has something to do with ignition. I also know that the cat converter codes can go on an ignition problem. I'm weary to take this to a mechanic shop (since I haven't found a good one yet) and know they'll just try and get me to buy a whole new cat converter. Thoughts? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  19. Looks to me like Bud and Coors are really more of a Japanese "Beer" than an American one. And that's fine, good, and dandy. You or I may or may not like the outcome taste of the beer, but at least it was made with the goal of quality and craft. Unlike Bud and Coors who substitute quality ingredients with cheaper ingredients for the goal of higher commercial output at lower cost. Again, quality product not in mind. And that's fine. While I might not like the taste of Miller beer, at least they don't substitute quality ingredients with rice. So they're beer in my book. "Hand crafted" or not, in beer or canopies it doesn't matter, is QUALITY still the goal? PD=Yes. Bud/Coors=No. You can tell me up and down that McDonalds may have a great quality CONTROL system. That does not make their food a high quality meal. A quality CONTROL system keeps them from getting shut down for health code violations. That does not mean they have to use quality ingredients to make a quality product. Rehmwa There are plenty of quality craft beers out there made by artisan brewers who have produced beers I didn't like. But I can recognize that their goal is to treat brewing like an art and create a masterpiece beer by using quality ingredients to create the taste they're looking to express. Bud/Coors on the other hand, like McDonalds and Taco Bell in the meal industry, are not looking to produce a high quality beer. There's a difference between beer you don't like because it's not your flavor, and fermented rice water (pee). 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  20. The point was not that Reinheitsgebot determines what beer is and isn't, the point was about using quality ingredients to make a taste, not sacrifice taste to lower production costs. Adding extra ingredients to add or enhance flavor is one thing. It's great that breweries experiment with adding "raisins, cherries, apricots, hemp, raspberries, and coriander" I've had many of those (except hemp, where did you get on of those?) and enjoy them Bud, Coors, etc substitute ingredients with rice. As listed in the ingredients, Bud uses a whopping 40% rice. That sounds like fermented rice water to me. What makes that beer and not watered down Sake? These 'beers' are right up there in quality with Taco Bell "beef", or the McDonalds 'Chicken McNugget', 100% real quality chicken breast right? http://www.rense.com/general76/chk.htm What Bud and Coors do is no different. Quality is not part of their vocabularies. Hey you can drink it all you want! But you won't ever convince me it was made with 'quality beer' in mind. It's pee. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  21. Coors and Bud are pee because they supplement the brewing of beer with rice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budweiser_(Anheuser-Busch) Budweiser is 40% made of rice. Instead of using a proper brewing grain which adds flavor like barley, wheat, or rye, companies that make Coors and Bud hold back on the quality ingredients and add a cheap rice substitute to get the grain sugars without adding any flavor at all. Essentially it's fermented rice water (pee). It is NOT beer. According to the original German purity laws: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinheitsgebot It would have been illegal to even label Bud or Coors as real beer. Unfortunately this world has poor labeling laws when it comes to beer. One can pee in a bottle and sell it as "beer". One reason to drink wine, at least the labeling laws make sure what it says is what you get! If McDonalds sold you one of their burger beef patties while telling you it was filet mignon, would you just believe it, eat it, and smile? Read up on the ingredients from some of the breweries listed above, you're probably going to find that they all use proper, quality beer ingredients and aren't interested in using cheap substitutional ingredients to lower costs. Bud and Coors may represent the conglomerated American way by selling a crappy watered down mislabeled product, but when it comes to pride in an American Beer, I'll take American craft and quality any day. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  22. Funny, except that Coors may be domestic, but it's definitely NOT beer. It's domestic pee water for all the NASCAR loving yocals, along with all the Anheiser-Busch products. For a REAL domestic BEER, I'll take a Sam Adams Or hell, why not: Shiner Magic Hat Stone St. Arnolds DogFish Head Left Hand New Belgium Red Hook Allagash Rogue Abita Saranac Sierra Nevada I think drinking an American brewed beer with real American craft put into it would be a lot better than some big corporation high production low cost pee. And it doesn't even have to be imported! 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
