  3. China increased use by 500,000 barrels while the U.S. had reduced use by in the same time 400,000 (not taking in consideration of Europe’s reduction as well) leaving a short fall of 100,000 but the market is appeared to be a short fall of 600,000 due to the speculators the holding of the contracts the had. It is a problem when speculators control 70% of the oil contracts, It no longer the producers, dealers and users of oil in control any more is the speculators that have no vested interest in the market other then driving the price to make money for them selves. 4. It wasn't China they had a small impact but it was Exon, speculators and private trading exchanges that drove the prices up. Like most artificial bubbles it finally popped juts like the .com, housing have. There have also been reports of speculators buying oil and storing it on tankers waiting till the price balloons again so tell me that they don't have a dirty hand in prices again http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/01/08/60minutes/main4707770.shtml http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/jan2009/db2009018_370800.htm?campaign_id=rss_daily http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/article481363.ece http://bigpicture.typepad.com/comments/2008/05/speculators-ii.html SO this one time at band camp..... 6. The one good thing is there no cords attached from the unit to the controller for them to trip on and have the whole think crash to the floor (that’s how my boy killed off one game cube) I bought my kids one for Christmas so I can’t say personally how it holds up but a friend of mine said they have had no problems other then the usual of watching that the kids don’t leave the disks around for them to get scratched SO this one time at band camp..... 7. It's airframe dose do a lot of back country mountain fly and crop dusting in New Zeeland good point on the Tail but it will be interesting to see the competition heat up with the Kodiak they do fly theirs in Alaskan wilderness SO this one time at band camp..... 8. thats becomes a bit of a saving over time 25 loads a weekend 20 per load = 500 jumper in northren climates seasonla of 20 jumpable weekends = 10,000 jumpers a PAC would have to do 33.3 loads per weekend to lifet the same number of jumpers but would save $6400 in fuel cost if going by your number. THen take in consideration on only one engin for mait and can run lighter loads I can see why small to mid size DZ would look hard at a PAC SO this one time at band camp..... 9. Ya thats great how that works no recource, and usualy it's such small cost relative to things it's not worth the cost and decutable for house hold inshurance so either way you end up paying. SO this one time at band camp..... "Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most."
  10. Have you checked ebay? This thieving TSA Agent might have been responsible. They need a stockade at the entrence to the TSA line at the airport to let every one show what they think of this thief. http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newjersey/ny-bc-nj--airportbaggagethe1008oct08,0,1848965.story SO this one time at band camp..... 11. It does but you sill are paying for the sotware and need to buy the cable. Both o those software I feel are worth the cost and perform well. The one thing I do like about the new jump track is it is MDB so if you know any datbase stuff you can great your own reports right out of the database with out the software. 12. Skydive Radio had a show with ear, nose, and throat Specialist, Dr. Stuart Selkin. (The link below) Is it Allegra or Allegra-D that you take? Allegra is just an anti-histamine the Allegra-D is the decongestant with pseudoephedrine I have bad allergies and get stuffed up all the time and like monkycndo I use 12 hour decongestant as well (Allegra –D). I wouldn’t recommend taking one for the first time before you jump. Try it during a time you can gauge the effects of the meds on you. I also carry a Dristan spray in the pocket of my jump suit and had to use it once to clear my nose while on the plane. A blockage can cause a lot of pain as you found or even an ear drum rupture. So see you doc and see how things effect you on the meds before the next jump http://media.libsyn.com/media/skydiveradio/sr54_08_15_06.mp3 SO this one time at band camp..... 14. I use DivX for converting it plays on my computer , Blackberry Bold, on my my DVD player at home that has DivX play back. The quality is good and I only need one format now for all the differnt devices I own (The DivX DVD Player only cost me $60 at wall mart) They compress down to about 300Mb per hour of play back and that standard DVD quality you can also compress to HD quality and every thing in between. 15. We have had the same debate here in Canada to vote for the federal elections. I'm against it here in Canada because every pice of photo ID that the goverment issues has a fee atached to it or a fee to replace. I do not feel there should ever be a cost for an elegiable person to vote!!! if the goverment offerd a I.D. that had no cost to the person reciving it it might be a bit differerent. Also what happens if you lose or have the ID stolen ? then your not alowed to vote? how is that a democrated process ? SO this one time at band camp..... 18. First what do you need or want to do with your system? If all it is for to do documents, internet, email, and other low level stuff then one for $500 will more then do well no need to over buy. What level of pc use and self support are you comfortable with? If you want good support get a dell from the business line not their home line. Dell uses off shore support for their home PC line (India) their business support is U.S. based and quicker response. I got a clearance Acer for $450 came with 120 Gb of storage 2 gb ram and will do every thing I need audio editing some games, since I don't heavy game with my laptop or do Video editing. I saved the $$ for other things and didn’t over buy. I buy a new system every 2 years this way. I do I.T. consulting and support and I have seen problems with pretty much every brand but good with every brand. I deploy over 3000 PC a years for corporations and refreshes so I’ve seen it all. I have owned HP, Dell, Acer, IBM, Lovano, now days with what even low end Laptops come with there is not such a huge need as in the past to get bleeding endge for more power and memory In 2002 I had a HP with 30 gb storage 1.2 Ghz and 512 ram running XP pro and cost me 2200 no I just spent $450 for and Acer 120 gb storage, 2.4 Ghz, and 2 gb of ram and still running XP pro SO this one time at band camp..... 19. I nervous on take off and alert till 2000, the relax rehearse and chill the I get a bit more when the plane is about to enter jump run doing gear check a deep breath and once in the door and all is well till pull time. Get bit more nervous until I’m under good canopy clear of traffic and got sight of the DZ and other near me. SO there are a few points where the heart rate goes up for me. 20. A comment like that ought to be banned as SEXIST! You're perpetuating a sexist stereotype, that women are just always supposed to be beautiful! In fact, BEAUTY, as a concept, is sexist and demeaning and should be banned. Fuck, it's Europe, the only things that are not subject to being banned are tyranny and oppression!! Then I'm sexist because buy from a janet Reno spokes woman would just not do it for me SO this one time at band camp..... "Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most."
  21. So do they keep a occupation list of every person they had problems with? Oh you’re an accountant we had a problem with your type before so no room, Lawyer same thing, and don't any of you trouble making office mangers think about coming as well? Why do they seam to think it ok to ban some one based on their occupation and not as an individual? if it as based on any other trade it would seam ridiculous. SO this one time at band camp..... 23. Turbulence off buildings is dirty and dissipates rapidly and close proximity to the ground disrupts them. The 10-1 rule fits well for static objects. The issue is wind turbines are located 2-300 meters off the ground and they are getting large, really large. The blades are designed to be very efficient and the surface area of the blades is equivalent of many airliner wings. With that in mind ask a small plane pilot or ATC what the flight separation behind a heavy is. Now you can start to see the potential problem is. A large efficient wing X 3 X the number of wind generators located 100-300 meters of the ground creating clean efficient vortexes that have no obstructions. The studies I have looked at for this issue almost all studies focus on Wind farm efficiency and the effects of the vortexes in the immediate area and how it impacts tower placement but none to date have looked in-depth at the long distance effects of the vortexes and their strengths. The study Peter mentions was done by Risø National Laboratory using Synthetic aperture radar on ERS-2 and ENVISAT Satellites looking at the sites at Horns Rev and Nysted wind Farm off the coast of Denmark. This is the only study and it is limited in over all scope that looks at wind farm effects over a greater distance. SO this one time at band camp..... 24. Nor, I hear, is your "free public health care" all that it's cracked up to be, either. it's not as bad either considering the unversal access people have to it. You're right. All they have to do is cross the border into the U.S. and bam! -- all the health care they need! Oh, yeah -- or they can wait six months to a year for an MRI or a sonogram in Canada. yes that is the case but it also dose you no good to have all the health care you can need if you can't afford it or have to chose taking care of your health of feeding your family. It may take six months to get some diagnostics done but they are ranked by the severity of the issue and not the size of the wallet. Prescriptions are less costly here as well.
