He was NOT tracking when I saw the pc/bridle. Nick was still facing in, towards the formation.

Whatever, it never happend, and it was a cheap imitation of a Cypres. We lied and I didn't track away. We were just trolling to see how many smart people in the *know* would respond to this.

Bumb deal, dude.... You missed all the fun and festivities! While you were checkin' out the hot nurses we were trying to figure out who and what we could put together for our record attempt. Hell, why'd you show up so early??? Shoulda got there late like me, then fake like your awake during the dirt dive. I think I became conscious on the plane. So, sleep, eat, f***, and watch lots of skydiving videos. Or better yet, come on out to the dz and check out all the nice chicks packing/sweating, etc.

Botched? Well, it may not last long, but it is the American record. Not too bad for our first jump together. Our colleagues across the pond may put up another challenge soon. I guess the 4 ways are *it* for now! And if Vike can take pics in the air like he does on the ground he will definitely give Norman/Joe/Mike, etc. some competition.

Definitely a Cypres misfire. My ProTrack was set for 4.5. It beeped and I waved everyone off and as I turned 180 it *looked* like Nick's PC started to deploy. First thought to me was *why* he deployed and/or did his pc come out of the pouch. When I landed I saw a sky blue canopy of a reserve. He was by Albi and knowing that he landed safely I went to check on Michele. Later I found out about the misfire and did a visual inspection and saw that the pc was still neatly folded in the pouch and the cypres cable cut through the reserve closing loop. Both handles still in there places. Yes, I'm sure and it was between 4.5 and 4. An even scarier thought is that he was low on the formation a couple of times.

Yo Vike, If you can fly and land as well as you take pics you will be a skygod in no time. j/k but L3 is a graduation of sorts, in that you are freefalling w/o the *training wheels* attached to you. Congrats. It was also probably a wise decision not to indulge in the previous night's celebration with the dot.commies and the 10+ cases of beer.

Congrats! I/we were fully confident of your abilities to kick ass. It was a lot of fun watching you at the front of the flying milk carton. =) And even more fun on your approach and perfect landing. (You just wanted to impress the Shark, huh?) Better keep that video, too. Not just because I'm in it.

Kinda heard that, too a little earlier when we were bitching about nobody showing up. I think that 10 way we did had a lot of DFSC people on it. But that didn't count.

Okay, so who's gonna be there Saturday..... we been talking about it for a while. DZBone gonna organize it? Quade gonna film it? (BTW, funny seeing you on the plane for the SSL Round 6.) We should probably meet in front of manifest around 9ish or so, unless you got a better idea. (Bombshelter?)
